the addon says Prevents the Killer from being notified when sabotaging a Hook
i want to know whats the purpose it literally makes no sense with the Hook sabotage System rn, pls tell me whats the purpose of it.

If you sabotage a hook, it creates a loud noise notification for the killer. The same thing that happens when you fail a skill check on a generator or fast vault a window outside of a chase.
Those gloves make it so you can sabotage a hook, and the killer will not be alerted.

Gloves are a must-have for those pesky "Sabo X number of hooks" dailies.

are you guys fr i dont want to know what this does i want to know what purpose it has because it makes no sense hooks respawn after 30secs so the only way you can actually sabotage the killer is : sabotage the hook right before him, and then he sees you anyways so this addon doesnt make sense

Are you asking why you would ever sabotage a hook?
Because it works. Have you never been in a match where the Killer heads towards a hook, some Jake slides in and sabotages it, and now the Killer has used 7 of his 10 allowed Survivor grunts to reach the hook and realizes he is screwed and the Survivor escapes?

Alright there is a clip of otz getting owned by this addon but basically if the area is a realative hook dead zone and the killer is about to pick up a survivor saboing the nearest hook before they can see auras will probably make them go for a hook to far away and lose the survivor from their grasp
for more context there was a hook about 10 meters away but with no notification / sound he didn't and couldn't have known about the preemptive sabotage

That clip is amazing XD.
Yeah OP, most survivors use the gloves to complete dailies without notifying the killer. A more subtle approach is shown in Otz video where they kept sabotaging hooks in an area of the map completely barren of hooks.

i have to say thats pretty but the addon is still useless.

useless because you can't use it right, which applies to many things in this game
huntress is useless if you can't land a hatchet
nurse is useless if you can't land a blink
spirit is useless if you can't hit anyone after power
its all a matter of how much effort you put into them being useful before you actually get value from them
