There are way more people that play survivors regularly than killers do.
Survivors get rewarded little things throughout the match and this makes them feel good playing and they can play with friends so its more fun.
Killers on the other hand gets regular REDACTED kickings lol. Its trial by fire and for a lot of people it is simply far too stressful to play because they have to consistently micromanage every little thing and mistakes are punished harder and often times will throw the whole game than when playing on survivors which has teammates and some perks that can make mistakes more forgiving or nonexistent.
Another thing that probably made things worse was cross play, you think more people fine that should be great. but then you realize most of the console players are survivor players because no one enjoys playing killer because the performance and optimization is pretty bad on consoles. it messes with the killers power a lot, and on the network side i don't even know how wifi gamers would even be able to play. 🤣
So what happen was the pool for survivors got bigger, but the number of killers available online that played regularly didn't raise by any significant margin. This over time really started adding up.

Streaming is super easy.
Literally just make a twitch or youtube account if you haven't already.
If on PC, get OBS. If on console, use the console's broadcasting capabilities.
"not taking the time to find out". The only time consuming thing would be setting up cams, overlays, audio, etc. which is not pertinent to the discussion so can be ignored.

Yet whenever killers complain, we get people that claim that killer is easy, high kill rates, killers just want 4ks, etc.
Killer needs to be fun, if survivors want shorter queues. Yet we have people that go out of their way to ruin the killers fun. Harassing killers after the match, by leaving toxic messages on their profiles.
It's almost like they want to have long queues.

Then you start the lobby as killer and get 4 toolboxes.
I mean, really? Why rush gens when you wait 10+ minutes for a match? It gives bonus points. Why not max them all out? Why only objective points?!

I think what many survivors actually want are killer-free matches.
The only time survivors ever seemed happy after a match was when I farmed or meme'd around. Me not playing for real and letting them escape is what they wanted. Anything else, win or lose, and they went off. Messages are turned off, now, but I still get survivors who act like dicks even when I'm pretty much harmless.
Their behavior suggests a lot of survivors don't want killers in their matches. If indeed fewer people are playing killer, then I guess those survivors are getting what they wanted?

i go back to this and ask how you have a full lobby, and finding 1 killer takes that long and makes it longer if you're in a grp???

Imagine if BHVR decided to throw a monkey wrench into the meta. Nerf all meta perks for both killer and survivor. We would have to rely on other builds and perks on killer and survivor.
It seems that most of the time killers and survivors run the same meta perks. It gives them the best advantage of surviving and or killing. If the devs really want to balance the game and make drastic changes that might be a way to go.
I am a dedicated killer main. I know the game is not in my favor in the red ranks alot especially with swf. I just deal with it. I love the game. I love the survivors and the killers. I always just do the best I can.
Bottom line is its a game. The basic function of a game is you win or lose. The best advice I can offer people is not to care if you win or lose. Tunneld, tbagged, looped, camped ..who cares? Yah it may suck but meh. At the end of the day it's just a game.
Win and lose with dignity and I bet you will have more fun regardless of the side you are playing. :)

Its actually true. 1 survivor alive sometimes equal to getting 1 "ggez" message.
Whole team escape and you get x4 of it. Which is why killers want to get more kill.

Notice how the Killer meta has to keep changing, but we have the exact, same, survivor meta. It's like the devs hate killers and think survivors are stupid.

Still waiting for all those survivor mains to start playing killer and show the rest how its done, because the game is balanced apparenty, and killer mains are just bad thats why they camp und tunnel.

Sorry but your statement is contradictory to itself. The basic function of a game should be "FUN" independent of win or lose.
But you said yourself "yah it may suck but meh". This statement alone shows that the game fails to fulfill it's basic goal more often than not.

Just chiming in to say it's sadly not only kids who purposefully act toxic. A good friend of mine is married and well in his mid-30s, he's a survivor main and has his own SWF group. On Tuesdays, they do the "toxic Tuesdays" where their only goal is to make the killers DC. They think it's funny and harmless so they do it to have fun.
He's a well educated and really intelligent guy. I always thought it's a shame cause I've been the SWF punching bag a few times, and it's not a pleasant experience at all. Definitely for them but certainly not for me.
