Very simple fix to genrush

just make it so all 4 survivors start the game together on one side and the killer starts on the other side and remove the separation offerings.

this would fix the problems cause the main cause of Gen rush is survivors splitting on gens so if they change it to make it so they start the game together it would fix the whole problem

It’s called play Bubba, chuck the survivors in the basement, and let them all die on first hook. Sick of the key/map swapping 6 second SWFs. It’s that or play tombstone Myers.

or anything with insidious + noed... let 2 survivors die on first hook or trade hooks... than you clean with noed.

Shroud of separation has to be reworked. I hate to see it in my bloodweb. It's a great offering only if you want to smurf back.

It probably should spawn survivor(s) closer to killer instead of separate them all over the map.

The first two comments above me and the original post's suggestion would actually make the generators get done faster than applying pressure, I don't understand your logic. Are you just using a different generation of "genrush"?

How would spawning survivors closer to killer get gens done faster?

That makes no sense to me.

Genrush is a created phrase. You forget that most of the playerbase are barely touching gens. A lot of them makes 0 progress on them still...and this percentage become higher with crosspay (soori consolers...truth hurts as always). You call those smaller percentage as a genrusher who actually tries to do the objective, not just crouching in a corner.

    There is only one question.

Are they doing gens, or not?

If they dont, killer is pleased.

If they do, yes, you might have a hard time as killer. Especially against an SWF.

There are no problems with spawns, there are no problems with offering in this case.

The problem is, after those nasty years, we still dont have a macthmaking that is capable consistently match players who belongs approximately under the same kaliber.

So I see some people are confused about this let’s make it simple let’s say we spawn on Rotten fields there’s 2 sides of the map the left and right. On the left side of the map all 4 survivors spawn together next to each other. Then on the right side of the map the killer spawns there so that way both sides have a equal chance the survivors decide when they split but it helps killer since he knows to go to the other side it would balance out

I know... Plus its a secret offering so survivors assume it's an ebony mori and rush things even faster.

I feel like if I ran hoarder and burned a shroud of separation it would be like turning on ultra hard mode.

Alright, to avoid misunderstandings, i will clear myself too.

I mean to say that it is just simply a bad idea.

Finding survivors is a huge part of the game, fixing spawning points for both sides like that kinda takes it away.

Basically, what you asked for is already done, since usually the killer needs to walk across the map, sometimes you dont reach the half and you run into one. If you do, but find nothing, you probably missed something.

Dont forget that, newer players will crouch into the first bush as they hear terror radius; based on the current state of the matchmaking i would be aware to make stuff like that.

Remind that, not all the maps symmetrical, either ways, if you are thinking about the map like it has two possible path, you are looking at it wrong. Once the survivors has experience about the patch between the spawnpoints, they could easily bypass you. Or, if you have enough experience as killer, you will find them. I think it goes on the same way today, right?

I will correct myself again. Your idea is not bad, it is just unnecessary, it would not change anything. Spending time and efforts on it would be a waste.
