Custom Perk Icons: Should the Devs officially support this community?
Custom perk icons and portraits have become incredibly popular over time, but aren't officially supported by the Devs, meaning that technically players could be banned for using them despite them offering no advantage other than looking cool (although to my knowledge no one has ever been banned for installing them).
It has also unfortunately been discovered that the ability to use them was removed on the PTB (and so this change will potentially be carried over into the upcoming update), which will sadly kill off a huge part of the community.
Do you think the Devs should implement something like a Steam Workshop or official in-game installer where the community can share and install custom icons officially?

Yes, official support should be given for them in some form
Forgot to mention, but my personal opinion is that they should.

Yes, I am bias regarding this for obvious reasons.
But 2 years ago I suggested for dead by daylight to have a workshop, that would work well.
The issue with endorsing the custom icons is that devs can't be sure if the anti-cheat engine will detect the changed files are cheats or not so if you do get banned neither the devs or the EAC will unban you.
If devs says "go ahead you can change the files" it opens the possibility for hackers and cheaters to claim "oh you allowed us to"
Soo my options are either:
-Create a free workshop for every console and pc users
-Create a user folder in the game files so anyone is able to change the icons and the icons only

I don't even use custom perk icons, but they are absolutely harmless so I don't see why not.
