Trappers hook bug?

I'm on ps4 and I've noticed whenever the trapper hooks someone. The hook aura thingy has the image of someone trapped in a bear trap in it....if that makes sense. Like no one is really trapped, it just shows it in the bubble that appears when the trapper hooks someone.

    Its on pc as well. Happening since last patch.

    Same here on xbox, it only does that if a bear trap is near the hooked survivor, it has a little panic attack

    I was able to see someone with BBQ and it showed the trap i laughed my ass off.

    Yes! This really needs to be fixed since it shows the location of any trap within the hooked visual, including the one he's holding. I feel really bad for the Trappers that I play against since I can tell where he is going and where all the traps around the hook are, it's almost like I have a free perk and it's unfair for them.

    I'm on Hiatus until Thanksgiving. I needed the break. I may see if @chemical_reject wants to play some RE6 this weekend.

    actually, thats not the hook, but thats every single beartrap that is around the hook.
    with other words: you see all the traps around the hook AND the one in the trappers hand, making it pretty easy to fight him atm.
    i hope they fix this soon...
