Would someone actually go out their way?
To report someone for glitching locked cosmetic sets?
Like yeah I get it's against the rules because of an exploit and such (even though they shouldn't have locked the sets that weren't actual other characters, like Lisa, Cybill and Alessa), but idrc as long as that person isn't hacking and ruining mine and other people's lobbies!
Would anyone here actively open a ticket to the devs (because we know in game reports do ######### all) to report someone for this glitch (to better wear a cosmetic they b o u g h t might I add)?

I just want to know how does it harm other people gameplay compared to the recent plague of cheaters occuring right now.

This is DbD, full of some of the pettiest most spiteful people you'll ever come across. If you do one thing they don't like, they'll report you for whatever they can come up with.

Literally, like, ghostface can fly and throw hatchets and that's fine and will only be passively banned by EAC which clearly has an easy workaround, but the moment someone glitches a cosmetic to make their character look better it's against eula and they'll be banned? Makes sense to me /s

Nope, the hassle of creating a ticket is too much for such a small thing that doesn’t have any effect on gameplay.

i got like 500 reports for camping, tunneling, slugging... ofc they will report and ban you... somebody even put a video of me farming traps next to him while letting him bleed out.
95% of the survivor playerbase are salty, and they do everything they can to get you banned.

funny you say that because I get quite a few killers saying they're going to report me.
I even had one saying he was going to report me because I didn't STRUGGLE when he was carrying me and that meant i was hacking lol #########

Hooking gives you more points than setting traps and letting someone bleedout tho. So it seems like they were just being petty

yeah but if they are dead on hook then you have less time to farm traps, so it makes sense to do it before you hook them and end the game
