They need to fix this games 1v1
Wrecked by a streamer and a friend with 2 solos. So many hits did not connect, 360 even tho I tracked my target they just disappeared. Dead hard game breaking. Perfect gen pressure just about. Tried slugging just to yet again phase through survivors. And just now went on mother's dwelling and 2 gens popped from one damn chase because dead hard and then I missed 2 demon strikes or 3 that were given to me but some how I guess oni is easy to juke. So I gave up. Frankly this game is ass at high rank killer. So many ds or dead hards it gets annoying. I'd rather not have to worry about dead hards every second. But I mean it is what it is you can just hide behind a corner because oni demon strike doesnt even let xbox players have full control so I hate killer now. It just annoying after a while.

bro stop blaming the game cos u get spun lmfao

Thatβs not helpful. On base Xbox and PS4 the game definitely puts killers at a disadvantage

I'm on PS4 that's not true
1 -
With the lower fps, poor optimization, frame drops, and suboptimal controls, yeah, it's true.
I'm on PS4 Pro and every time Bloodlust tiers up I lose enough frames that any attempted hit misses and sometimes the survivor outright disappears.

So was I. Itβs very true. Itβs not a dramatic disadvantage, but itβs a disadvantage compared to other platforms nonetheless.

I don't have any of these issues on PS4 my frames are great. Maybe your internet isn't that great or it's being used on different devices when your playing causing it not to run optimally. Maybe the players are just more experienced causing them to be able to spin you, I don't get spun very often but when I do I just understand that they likely have more hours and experience than me after all there's always players out there better than how I or anyone else plays.

Oni is pretty tough on controller with the sudden sensitivity change. Its very disorientating combined with his camera getting shoved into the ground. So controller Oni is much more difficult to control and you could say he's easier to juke because of this, not to mention fps issues and general console killer disadvantage.
Other than that yeah killer kinda sucks in general as well. You're better off just playing survivor or not playing the game in my opinion. Let the survivor que times rise and your blood pressure go down.

What he's saying is that on ps5 the new Xbox and oc, the game runs at at least 60 fps while on ps4 and the old Xbox it runs at 30 fps if lucky.
It might run a little bit better at the pro versions but not by much.
I play killer to and can confirm that they are able to phase trough you due to the latency.
Yesterday i had a guy who ran into a corner when he realised that, he turned around and dh in a straith line towards me and went through me.
And i play the ps4 version on the ps5.
Yeah i know it sounds weird but that has to do with the long waiting times and the micro hud

Huge difference between frames dropping and survivors spinning. When survivors spin, they're moving and I'm moving and the world is animated. When frames drop, nothing is moving, controls don't respond, and then suddenly the view is different and things are moving again. Huge difference between an in-game move and a complete lack of movement due to frame drops.
My internet is fine. I even use a cable rather than relying on wifi like a dolt. This is the only game that has problems. Red Dead Online and Battlefront II play great. In DbD, there are a lot of in-game actions that cause frames to drop. Opening a chest is one of them. Other players can perform the action and it still causes frame drops for me.
DbD is poorly optimized. Not everyone is going to have the same issues, but a lot of console players experience these problems. Just because they don't happen to you doesn't mean they don't happen. Be happy you're one of the lucky ones.
When a survivor uses Dead Hard, they lose collision, so they can pass through the killer. Just like the way a survivor can run through a killer after the killer hits them.

Yeah I agree part of it's on my rising anger but you cant dent auto aim ######### everything up from basic m1 to a lunge
0 -
I wish that was true, I've done it to, well tried it, and everytime I dh towards the killer I was just stopped by him.
And it's not as he was far away or anything, he was just waiting for the dh on my ass.
I did the animation but just against the killer like as if you dh while running against the wall, didn't move from my spot

I mean I have bad wifi at my house and I'm here at a place with good wifi. What I have sadly figured out is good wifi doesnt give you hits that you should get because auto aim and all that works too well. Or so j assume because I NEVER get auto aim as bad as I did today. But yeah whenever I'm at home and use oni my frames drop and I miss a demon strike and so I just die inside
0 -
Yeah wish they put in a option to turn auto aim on or off.
I've been screwed over by that many times too unfortunately
0 -
See if did that to me it's like admitting I'm bad. But k know I'm not bad and that I usually always wreck unless I cant compete with gens or if I get cucked like this. And I swear having to deal with bad game design and console being abysmal it makes me feel like I'm trash so I feel like I have to get multiple 4k just to make up for it
1 -
I never deal with that when I have to use bad wifi. So it makes me realize that I get hits that shouldnt hit which is always bad but if I don't deal with auto aim I dont feel as bad because auto aim just destroys console. I whiffed 4 time in a freaking row trying to hit a survivor ON FRONT OF ME.i followed and everything. So yeah tonight wasn't good

Out of interest what are your settings for graphics? I would repeat what others have said also, console sees noticeable performance issues compared to pc. I've been playing plenty over the past week and I have awful bt Internet. killer and survivor work fine, except dead hard I think is still to inconsistent, I end up exhausted on the ground half the time. I'm also not shoddy at killer and I couldn't fathom playing oni on controller so this must be extra frustrating.

Really? Survivors ran through me all the time when they used DH. At least, I think they did. Or they've at least run by very close to me using Dead Hard. It's difficult to tell with the 1st person POV camera, really.
I've also had latency and frame drops where I wasn't sure if the survivor Dead Harded or not. I'll turn to my friend and be like, "Was that a Dead Hard?" and he often can't tell, either.

I mean there's only so much you can do, the game is designed in a way that killers are at a hefty disadvantage the majority of the time. Even players who basically live on the game or have it as a job can struggle with it. Sometimes (or even more often than not depending) the game just says "no" and unless the survivors are bad then you aren't realistically winning.
In high level play on both sides survivors just kinda win outside of a few edge cases Like Nurse. Its just the way the game is, it doesn't mean you're bad at the game, its rigged in the survivors favor. The killer side for the most part relies on survivor mistakes, if they don't make enough mistakes you just don't win sometimes.

I'm on the One X (which is superior to the Pro) and I still have awful frames.
Because of low FPS and stuttering/freezing, when Survivors spin, they can effectively disappear since you are being presented with less information per second.

Console dont get that we only control our volume and sensitivity
2 -
Thanks, but recently it seems like the game has been harder. More difficult teams and more swf. Plus I've been whiffing a lot and before crossplay I NEVER had issues hitting 360 or auto aim. PC players can spin really fast which can ruin auto aim but just un general the auto aim seems to be acting up
0 -
SSo you're telling me that we suffer against this because frames? Idk PC players have it easy with spins and they can be very erratic and it seems to cuck me. Hell today I swung at a girl going to the pallet in one of those unsafe rail way rooms with 1 or 2 staircases with a pallet and I swung at her because she dropped and autism made me track her but stay on the stairs so instead of going around the rail I just went up the stairs while locked on to her and it pissed.me off

Yeah i don't know what the reason is behind it all.
I have a very good connection but sometimes I'm next to a corner and I lunge at a survivor while they go around the corner and the auto aim just turns me facing the wall.
It's not that I turned during the attack, I just always press forwards till I'm positive I can make the turn without getting stuck on the corner.
At least I would love to be able to turn off the auto aim and if that will put me at a disadvantage (if that's the reason why they put it on) than that would be a choice I'm willing to take
0 -
Yeah i have the same thing, they run trough me with Dead hard.
But whenever I try to do it as survivor I always feel like in the movies where a big guy is stopping you with 1 hand π
I just bumb the killer and don't go anywhere other than staying right in front of him
0 -
Trust me it wouldnt. All these jukes have been hard to hit recently and it because if auto aim. And hell I honestly think bad wifi changes auto aims effectiveness
0 -
Yeah as a person who ran DH ALOT before I can assure you that you cant go THROUGH them. You have a blight effect where you slide past them. If you ever hit straight on you get stopped but still invulnerable
0 -
Yeah I'm pretty sure if I could turn off auto aim, my hits would definitely be on point.
Funny thing is that I've tested it a while back and saw how terrible auto aim actually is.
It was egc and the last survivor just waited in the exit gate.
I stood behind her and spin around and than tried to hit her.
And guess what?
Not 1 single hit got to her and she wasn't moving either.
The game just decided to stop just before I would hit her and than continue to spin again.
Every single time, no matter when I attacked, it always stopped just next her.
I didn't let go of the stick, didn't move back or forwards, we both stayed on 1 spot.
So yeah auto aim is definitely a very bad feature in this game and should most definitely be considered as an option and not forced upon you.
About dh, I knew I wasn't crazy π
Weeeeeell maybe a tiny bit π¬
But yeah that is why it surprises me when survivors just dh trough me and I don't attack.
After trying it a few time myself and without success I don't try it anymore.
I rather dh somewhere into nothing and waist maybe only a few seconds should he attack, than dh into the killer
1 -
Have you ever played killer on console? Please please please borrow a friend's PS4 or whatever and try it out.
2 -
especially at 100 sensitivity against people with mouse's or people who literally practice jukes to the Point they can stop midspin and spin elsewhere and ######### like that
2 -
Throw in video card this, sound card that, filter this over here, resolution that by that, mortgage payment headset....
0 -
Like yeah I'm a survivor main and I'm not a good killer all the time and I got my moments but when I dont swing through people and get cucked by auto aim i ALMOST never get spun. Oh yeah and PC survivors can see red stain easier too
1 -
I mean I tried DBD killer on console and was back to PC within a few days. Itβs terrible, and I have no plans on getting the next gen console anyways.
If I was on console though, Iβd probably stick to mechanically simple killers. M1 killers like Myers, Ghostface, Legion, etc. maybe venturing into AOE killers like Plauge or Clown.

I main huntress and oni so yeah. But what was the noticeable difference in your console adventures
