If you have been working on it for a while why haven't you could of said were working on we can't give you a time or any photos yet but at least we have heard your calls it took so long to answer and were planning to hold out until a better time "when the 5th year anniversary "all that attitude from the community could of been avoided if you just spoke about it even very briefly like I dont get it
(Edit this applies to a lot of things in this game like if an idea is passed around and the team starts working on it just say this is a thing we are working on this I may never come but we have considered looking into it and if it drops just day hey we are not working on this and it may be brought back some day)

A lot of developers tend to hesitate about revealing stuff too early or promising concrete launch windows, because things change and players tend to not understand that. That's the root of the whole "Soon(tm)" joke about upcoming Blizzard stuff, for example. It makes more sense to say nothing until something is ready, than to say something too early and end up with a frustrated audience.
That said, shame on them anyway for not prioritizing this earlier. Accessibility options should not be a "maybe" in 2021, and they shouldn't have been a "maybe" in 2016 either. Now they need to add more quality of life stuff along those lines, like real resolutions, brightness options, FOV sliders, etc. that aren't tied to game mechanics.

for the sake of not being sued, fired, or fined they can't say anything unless they get the go ahead

With who not like they work with star breese any more they are hurting their reputation with the community for no reason

I get that people are always annoying wanting things sooner but like I would rather want to know hey this is a thing that will be coming out possible rather than have over half the community upset over something they have been working on probably for months

They already said on a lot of topics, that they are not gonna talk about it unless it is time to do so, because it is far enough to present. This is just consistent
