Why do survivors click a moment befor they get hit?
So, I played killer the last days a little more and I don't understand something. When a survivor has a flashlight, they click a moment befor they get hit. Why are they doing this?

Two possible reasons:
- They are memeing.
- They are confident in their skills and are trying to psych you out.

If the killer is waiting for dead hard clicking might make the killer swing

When you click the flashlight looking at the killer it swaps your character to face the killer which in turn makes it so you can have more sporadic movement to throw the killer off for the upcoming 360. No I'm not memeing and confidence in the ability to 360 is a joke especially with dedicated servers cmon guys

When a killer thinks I have Dead Hard and is waiting it out, I click at them as in me telling them "cmon dude I don't have it, hit me already".

It's a common way to 360. Most "good" survivors know about it but very few can actually pull it off.

It has a use but i'd say that most survivors do this because they've seen other people do it and don't know exacly why.

kinda complicated to explain how the sloppy survivor movements work; but basically by clicking behind you, you reset your position and spinning doing a 360 is easier, wider and better, than not doing it.

It’s literally just for a last minute spin which almost always results in an instant down. Lol, but those could also be true.

It makes you get into a position to try and do a spin, that’s all.

People still 360 in this day and age?

Because someone on YT/TTV does it.
