You seem to forget that every little Survivor nerf is the literal death of the game, everyone is abandoning it in droves, and the devs are blatantly, disgustingly, killer favored.
Meanwhile, every Killer balance change, "Adapt, baby killers."3 -
Didn't you get the memo, game is dead because of those 4 seconds. Killers are getting four kills every match and so survivors are leaving DbD.
Or... everything is cool and survivor mains will just moan about this until the next patch, when they'll find something else they don't like.

So what you're saying is that because playing survivor isn't exactly easy anymore........the game is dying.......yeah.....let's not forget that killers are supposed to be a threat and not exactly easy to escape. It should be an achievement to have survived, and if your team works together, it should be challenging, yes, but obtainable.
Also, "blatantly and disgustingly killer favored"? You have to be joking right? For as long as I can remember, killers have always had the short end of the stick. Survivors have always had, as TydeTyme puts it, "the number and the power roles" when the killer is supposed to be the all-powerful demon while the weaker, more numerous survivors must work together to defeat that one strong role. Now that survivor is not as easy as it once was, clearly the devs just are hating on the survivors and only support killers. Clearly.

I can assume, at the very least, that doesn't happen often.Well before most matches, I announce that I have Pharm. This usually gets folks to leave 1 chest behind as they likely figure that they can loot the Emergency Med-Kit off of my corpse. I also have studied chest spawns so normally I can get to chests first. As a fail-safe measure though I will sometimes bring uncommon or common medkits as placeholders for the Pharmacy kit in case I cannot reach a chest.

The killers are getting more kills due to survivors farming vials. The lobby queue is way better since the hallowed blight update.

I have over 50 Pustula Petals on Quentin Smith. I will be offering almost all of them long after I finish my vials. Killers need vials too.
