Are monitors better than TV
So I'm on console and I main Huntress. I don't have a big tv but it isn't small I can usually get a feel for my center, but not as much as I want I always end up looking away from the center. I played on a big 4k t.v. and it was hell. So much things for my eyes to take in that I couldn't find the center even half the time. But I heard an monitor was better by azame and it's also smaller so I feel I might find my center better. So can you guys give me some facts and opinions?

Whatever you dump the most amount of money in will probably be better.
Preference wise however I prefer a monitor; it's 28" 1440p 165hz it has everything I honestly look for.

I think it is, perhaps, less the screen and more the control sensitivity. It is a lot easier to aim projectiles and hit a moving target with a mouse than with a controller.

When I play Dead by Daylight I'm on a PC. Monitor isn't huge, standard I think. Takes up the entirety of my vision so I can see things out of the corner of my eye and I'm always looking straight on. I do remember enjoying playing Call of Duty on a TV though.
I like small screens, but to each their own.

Monitors are objectively better. They typically have lower input latency and higher refresh rate. Input latency is the time it takes for an action to appear on screen once you hit a button/move your mouse. Tvs are generally slower even on "game" mode. So if you are looking to play competitively, monitors are the way to go 1000%.

You can pretend you are using a small computer monitor by moving your sofa into the garden and playing from there.

which has better response time

Monitors are generally better for most situations. I have a 250 hz monitor with built in crosshair overlay. Playing Huntress feels very satisfying.

Idk I haven't used a pc much since 2014 i used to play on one all the time until I moved after my mom passed away. So I have no recollection of the differences

Yeah I dont play her for the chase or to have fun per se. Well I guess I do but my main goal is cross maps and getting better and making youtube vids with her. Although it brings me as much anger as it does fun so idk. And I don't have a monitor so this whole thing was probably pointless since ill be getting a pc when I become a marine. I just wanted the information because learning is something I enjoy

I play on 4K 58 inch and finding my center is pretty easy but I've always played on TVs so maybe you just need more time?
You can do what I did for a game I won't mention and tear off the corner of a sticky note, find the center of your TV and stick it there or buy one of those AimDot things

If you really like playing Huntress, think about buying some crosshair stickers. You just stick them on your tv and now you have a pretty decent crosshair. They're also pretty cheap.

Well idk I don't like the idea of using one. Even though the 3 best huntresses I often hear of coconut and Ralph also Scott all advocate for it. But I just don't want to rely on something. I just tear my confidence down doing that. Also when I use my regular tv I usually find my center so I don't see much difference in gameplay except better sniping and shot leading

TV's are in a way better but control sensitivity goes to the pc for better game play.

Well ive been console my whole life. Anywho I just always take in lots of detail and when I focus on chases I guess im looking somewhere else besides my center so the bigger tv throw me off intially. Also I don't want to do crosshair. Every now and then I try a stickynote to see how it affects my gameplay but it usually doesnt help

Elaborate please

Don't think of it that way. Crosshairs allow you to have a lot more fun. Plus, there's a reason you can buy them on the market.

With tv's they're bigger so you can generally see more (especially with brightness and gamma up), however pc's run faster than a console and the controls are (somehow) easier for this game so you're able to react to everything in the game faster than you're able to on console/tv.

Have you tried sitting further away? Or lean back as much as you can, maybe you just need a better position to get a good feel for the center
I keep my chair at a certain distance so I can see everything and still focus when I need ya know?

Well I can objectively say they arent that bad nor are they unfair to go against. But just due to my pride and self confidence issues I dont want help that directly helps. Like when I lift weights I dont like using a belt or wrist wraps

Well MY TV that I use at home is smaller maybe 30 inches idk. But I live in a trailer so I dont got that luxury with my trailers layout. I dont usually have problems all the time.
