Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

It was the beginning with the rift pass,it seem like a good idea but it ultimately took up the development time and now they probably can't put much effort into the lunar and winter solstice event's.

I'm with the three other people who have no idea what this is trying to convey.

    Translation:

Why are you trying to turn Dead by Daylight into Call of Duty or Fortnite?

I'm assuming OP isn't happy with the monetization of this game. I wish Behavior would take a few things from Fortnite, such as changing up the maps and having different events. More varied cosmetics would be nice too. They even give more and better stuff in their free "rift"- I forgot what their pass is called.

Imagine having a creative mode where you could make your own maps and then play them in KYF

Assuming your talking about monetasation let’s face it every game has a battle pass now it’s par for the course.

could it be better yes but otherwise this game isn’t too bad

I'm a big fan of cod and dbd and play both atm. Play more dbd currently. Got hooked again, litterally 🤣

Yeah OP, what are you on about?

I don't even need a creative mode. I'm not a big fan of shooters, but fornite was fun for a bit because the devs changed it up a bit. They introduced modes like "the floor is lava" where players had to combat each other while avoiding the rising lava by going to higher ground while collecting resources to build up. The had another mode where the storm would move around and force you to move in different directions while you rode on a fun hover board.

Those are just a few examples of switching up the game play and Behavior needs to take notes. It's why everyone was so upset with the last Halloween non-event. The game play is stale, a new killer every 3 months can only do so much, and even then, it's really only exciting for about a week. They better stop being afraid to change things up and introduce new mechanics, items-even one time use items such as fireworks, environmental hazards on the map that can positively or negatively effect both killers and survivors depending on the situation (think frozen ground that will let you slide rapidly across the map but with little control).
