The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Why isn't this a thing?
So survivors get bloodpoints whether they live or die if they're the obsession in the match. Why don't killers get bloodpoints for sacrificing/killing their obsessions? My friend thought that it was because when the mechanic released with Chapter 2: The Halloween Chapter, none of Michael's perks give you any incentive to go after the obsession and it's better they stay alive. Although that's true now, old Dying Light you could not use until your obsession was dead so there used to be incentive with Dying Light. Besides, there are still perks and reasons why a killer might still go after the obsession.
- You don't have an obsession perk so it doesn't matter if the obsession dies
- You have Dead Man's Switch, Rancor, Remember Me (all 3 you either kill the obsession with or would want the obsession dead)
So why don't killers get points for killing their obsession? Even when playing with perks that cause an obsession that you wouldn't want to kill your obsession, if you're good with your selected build/killer, you're eventually going to get to a point where you would need to kill the obsession for the 4k.

I thought Killer's get the "Obsession Dead +1000" score event as well but perhaps I'm wrong

Personally I think there should be more negatives to being the obsession.
The only real danger is if the killer is using rancor.
There's remember me but who runs that now that it's been nerfed?
STBFL the killer is likely to ignore you if they want to keep those stacks.
PWYF the killer will start chasing you and then break off for a stack.
If Dying Light is in play the killer will want to hook non obsession survivors.
No one uses Furtive Chase. (Seriously ######### would we need a smaller TR during a chase?)
Dark Devotion. If you want to get real value out of that you would want to hit the obsession and leave to get the drop on someone else.
Dead Man's Switch. Again, there's way better perks to choose from. You will hardly run into this.
Nemesis. Gives oblivious to someone if they stun the killer. Not really dangerous.

I had made a post a few days ago about this exact topic.
It basically went that Survivor Obsession perks should give a major downside of some sort, while Killer obsession perks encourage them to not go after the Obsession.

I would say that if the killer gets bonus bloodpoints for killing their obsession that would kinda support tunnelling which they dont wanna do.

Because it'd encourage killers to tunnel the obsession out of the game.

Most obsession perks, if you have them and many do, you're not going to want to tunnel your obsession.
