What is going on with matchmaking right now
Playing killer (8) at purple ranks vsing nothing but yellows and greens. Playing survivor at purple ranks with a yellow rank friend and going against rank 2/1 killers and then the next game going against rank 18 killers. I dont believe it has ever been this bad before.

They've probably but MMR back on without telling anyone so if it's an epic fail like last time they can just take it off and not say anything and try it again at a later date.

i mean maybe. But when asked about if they turned it on, they said no. But man is this so bad.. 2 rank one killers in a row now. with me at rank 7 and my friend at 15.. no one on the team was red rank either.

there are too many survivors and not a lot of killers out there, you can notice it by survivor matchmaking queue time... since the game lacks of them, it forces you to get matched with red ranks killers to allow you to play.

The ranks haven't been this bad in a long time so I really wouldn't be surprised. Plus they may have said no but even though I like the devs and all if they said the sky was blue id still look out of my window just to check lol.

I've been having the same experience. Killers today for me have ranged from rank 1 to rank 15. It's insane. I know they announced a new rank system very recently where everyone will be set back to 20 every 30 days. And apparently matchmaking will no longer be based on rank at all... so I would imagine that the first response is correct. They are likely testing or have already implemented that failure MMR system that already proved to be a waste of everyone's time... I just don't get it, DBD.

Had a game tonight with 1 other rank 1 and 2 rank 20s. Killer was rank 11. I have a feeling if they were going to fix matchmaking they would have by now considering I've been having this issue with getting super low ranks for almost a full year now.
