Noob Here, Have some questions

BPS- Can either mean "Bloodpoints" (less common, people usually will use just "bp") or "Bloody Party Streamers" (more common), an offering for survivors and killers that increases their bloodpoint gain by 100% post-trial. Basically, double bloodpoints.

M1- Mouse 1, the button used for most interactions in the game (lunging or grabbing as killer, and repairing/healing/sabotaging as survivor).

SWF- Survive With Friends, usually people mean SWF on comms, which is playing SWF whilst communicating with other people on your team.

EGC- Endgame collapse, a mechanic introduced that kills all remaining survivors when the timer elapses. It's 2 minutes long, although whenever a survivor is in the dying state or hooked it progresses at 50% the normal speed. It's triggered whenever the hatch is closed or the first exit gate is opened, and no generators can be repaired whilst the EGC is in session. Once started, there is no way to stop it.

OoO- Object of Obsession:

BT- Borrowed Time:

Survivor meta

The current meta perk build is:

• Decisive Strike
• Dead Hard/Sprint Burst
• Iron Will
• Unbreakable

Other good choices are:

• Borrowed Time
• Lithe/Balanced Landing/Head On (don't run more than one Exhaustion perk though)
• Kindred
• Spine Chill
• Resilience

killer meta

The current meta perk build is:

• Hex: Undying
• Hex: Ruin
• Barbeque and Chili (BBQ)
• Killer dependant (as in, it depends on the killer you're playing).

However, RuinDying (the name for the Ruin Undying combo) is being nerfed soon, so there'll be 2 new meta builds depending on the killer:

• Hex: Undying
• Hex: Devour Hope
• BBQ
• Killer dependant

Or

• Pop Goes The Weasel (PGTW)
• BBQ
• Corrupt Intervention
• Killer dependant

Some other solid perks:

• Save The Best For Last (good on killers who use their primary attack more)
• I'm All Ears (good on killers like Nurse or Pyramid Head).

Good killers

The best tip I can give for Nurse is to just... play her. Just keep playing her over and over without add-ons and eventually you'll learn her. That's the only real advice for it.

Other strong killers include Spirit (which her "killer dependant" perk would be Stridor for definite, which makes the breathing of survivors 25% louder and injured sounds 50% louder). She doesn't take that much skill to use, though you'll want to at least have basic knowledge of how the game functions and survivors play, and she's incredibly strong. Also there's Freddy ("The Nightmare"), who's very very easy to play but one of the best killers in the game.

Personally though, I suggest learning a weaker killer first, such as Wraith or Legion. This will teach you transferrable skills that apply to all killers, such as "moonwalking" (walking backwards to hide the red light), countering loops ("looping" being the action of running around a structure several times to maximise distance), or good pathing.

Finally, playing survivor is one of the best tips I can give to getting better as killer. Once you know how a survivor will play, you can counter what they do very effectively.
