jason voorhees in dbd possibly next chapter??
i havent really keept track of the friday the 13th lawsuit latley mostly because its been such a drag, and this is a a topic talked about alot but since we have had 2 original chapters, will we get a licenced chapter? if so is Jason Voorhees legit possible?

Licensed chapter is possible but not confirmed.
Jason is very very unlikely since the lawsuit is not finally over yet. It seems like the winner is known by now, but it’s going on still and I don’t think the losing side will give up that easily..

I'm not a horror movie fan, and it is VERY ironic that I've fallen in love with DbD, as a killer no less! I've heard of Jason but I'm not familiar with what all he does. To an outsider he seems like a Michael Myers but with a hockey mask. Can someone elaborate briefly on his story and what kind of theoretical kit he might bring to DbD. Thanks peeps!!

If Jason will just be another "fun" M1 killer that the survivors can bully. I don't want him in here. I want him to be Nurse lvl. I want survivors to be terrified to go against Jason!

I hope that there's some way Bhvr can get a deal done before the lawsuit is settled, by somehow agreeing to terms with both parties.
Is that possible? I have no idea, maybe I should ask Larry!
Maybe pay both parties, if it costs double who cares!
One thing is for sure, there is NO CHAPTER IN THE WORLD that could be as MONUMENAL as Friday the 13th for the 5 year anniversary coming up. Period.

The devs probably have it as their number one priority. But even they're smart enough to know it's to big a gamble to acquire Jason in his current situation.

Jason is undoubtedly the biggest dlc for Dead by Daylight, but he is still in demand and it is unknown who they have to negotiate.

Alien and Resident Evil are also very well worthy for the 5th year anniversary. Especially because Jason is not available at all..

So as a kid he drowned. His mom killed a bunch of people. He was secretly alive at the bottom of a lake and watched his mom get decapitated.
Mass murder ensues while worshipping his mothers head on a shrine. He gets killed finally. Resurrected by graverobberd and a lightning rod. Kills more people. Drowns again from a telekinetic ressurecting her drowned father. Returned to torment NYC. Resurrected in an android form i think. Fought freddy to hell. Got a reboot with sam from supernatural.
Now is in the scariest place, united states copyright courts.
His kit? Some form of killer instinct. Probably an insta down and some kind of teleportation.

A better game died because it was themed around him and lolsuit threats emerged around jason, so, no ... Evil Dead gets a game this year though. Going with recent years of games, it'll be either crap or just get boring quickly if good. If Back 4 Blood captures what left 4 Dead made me feel though,t he excitement of it, and isn't too grindy then I'll wind up playing that one for years like I played l4d hopefully.

It is not the least original idea if you know the capabilities of the character, think about it, if it were in the game, it would be a demolition of pallets and breakable objects, better than chainsaw killers.

Me and a friend of mine we're talking, and I asked him what power's would he give Jason in Dead by Daylight. Unfortunately my friend isn't much of a gamer and when he does it's usually GTA or whatever new Anime game is out .Tho he is familiar with the game from watching me play it and explain what was going on and who all the characters we're.This is the list of abilities he said Jason should have in DBD.
On a side note. I would like to know if talking about chapters annoys or kills the hype for you.
5.Jason should be able to one shot you at the end of the match.so possibly could tie into 4 with him just growing in power as the match continues.
4.Jason should be resilient to fighting ie. Pallet Stuns should be less effective against him,flashlights,and Decisive Strike.
3.He should be able to shift (teleport) I saw a chapter ceation idea on reddit, where the creator gave Jason the ability to use the fog around him.Kind of like Demo's portal's but only banks of fog throughout the map to traverse that he can use.
2.Jason should be able to enter an undetectable state, I guess that could work like Demo again coming from the teleport into undetectable or a controlled version where you can activate stealth for 45 seconds, which I would prefer.
1.This the dymofactor ,this actually had me gushing it could work as a perk or a status effect. We'll call it Lover's Fate for now.(how about the intimate status effect sounds great)
When two survivor's enter an area and their Male and Female Lover's Fate activates and Jason can see the aura of the survivor's for 2 seconds,.He says because Jason always knows when the camp counselors were being naughty.It can work as a perk but,I think this would be better as a status effect for Jason.There could be more penalties involved all,I can really think of is gen penalties unhooking speed decreased ,healing etc.,and if survivor's or near each penalties still persist.
Would you believe me my friends name is Jason and he was born on Halloween lol.

Which of course would somehow someway be the mori.
I always thought that he would get weapon packs instead of 1 weapon. And he would have to find weapons scattered around the map. He could hit people with his fists to inflict deep wounds on an injured survivor or something like that.

I think that would be a neat idea. A killer with multiple powers sounds cool. I thought that's what Legion was going to be in the teaser trailer. Then it turned out to be 4 delinquents all wearing the same mask.

That's just a multiplayer mode for Re8,it want be an asymmetrical multiplayer ,I'm turning blue over here .Most likely Nemesis will be part of DBD at least we can all hope.

Doesn't matter what killer they come up with, they'll be gen rushed and bullied by swf squads. I play both sides are I really hope they introduce an OP killer that bosses each game it plays in
