Have the Devs given a Time Frame on this????
So Keys........ Lets talk about keys.... How broken they are and how ridiculous it is that an Item can get a survivor an escape when they dont deserve it. Or even cause a killer to have to worry about that one person throwning them off their game. Sure i could play normal but worst case they do four gens i kill one all 3 can get out or i kill 2 they only have to do three. I just think its time to fix this part of the game is all.

They should've changed it with mori's but you know priorities! Now everyone is dumping all their keys out waiting for the nerf that I highly doubt will be anytime soon. I just have that feeling.

The devs don't like to give out time frames. If something happens that cases them to postpone it the community gets bitchy and says "You said the new update would come out today. Where is it?"

Definitely agree!!! Every match i play as killer there is at least one key. I have over 75 saved up on any given survivor because i know how cheap they are and i want to have a normal match not a match where the killer is stressing over the guy with the key. Also i Think if they added more time to the broken key it would alleviate some of the nonsense as 5 seconds of use is trash with the skeleton key gives 30. Just saying I know it won't help in the end cause survivors like to abuse the crap out of op things, but it would be great for me to be able to use a Blood amber or the addon that lets you see other survivors for longer without having to use a bs ITEM.

I agree also broken key should be a different appearance like actually broken so the killer can see the difference, because people will bring broken keys and still get tunneled or the killer is stressed out, because you can't tell the difference.

Keys are more complex to change than Mori's are. With Mori's its a simple matter of changing the hook requirement. With keys, they have to figure out what to do with them first.

Add a cast time to open the hatch (about the same as opening a chest). Done in the sun. That is a simple fix.
There may be more complex better solutions, but even that simple fix would be good.
