Which side is faster?

I won't be able to play the event until a few days before it's over, which side earns vials faster?

    Survivor, by far. 

    That's what I'm getting all my vials from.

    Survivor seems way easier. I don't know why.

    Survivor is considerably easier. Just suck two and a half plants per match and you are set. Killer has to use 6 unique hooks.

    I really must be a much better killer than survivor because I almost always get one vial per match as a killer whereas it is a bit of a random thing when I get a full vial in a survivor match. Sometimes other players are busy harvesting and I'm short about a quarter of a vial, sometimes the killer finds me first and things go sideways, and sometimes I've run into bugs where my vial is completely full, but I don't get credit at the end of match. I feel like I'm more in control of my destiny playing as the killer.

    @Dreamnomad That's interesting because I find the opposite to be true - I feel more in control of my destiny as survivor. Sure, as killer it's easier to ensure that you get the hooks that are there, but you can't ensure six hooks - i.e. one full vial - by yourself. You have to rely on at least 3 of the survivors to also burn offerings. Whereas as survivor, yes there's more competition and it's a bit of luck who finds the plants first, but at least you can get enough plants to spawn for one full vial without relying on other people to burn offerings.

    Depends on your team TBH and luck. If you only have 2 plants per match and the random gets it first then you get a big goose egg on survivor. Killer you have to get them to a hook but your not having to fight for your hooks with someone else. So i think killer is slower but more confirmed. Survivor can be faster, but more varied.

    Survivor has way shorter queues AND you can just suicide and move to next game if all plants are gone. Killer can't just leave.

    Survivors can team up and do a plant in 30 seconds. You need 2 1/2 plants. Thats way faster then getting 6 event hooks that might be on the other end of the map.

    Just need iron grasp and a little strategy. Try to work from the outside in. But if it's easier to earn them as a survivor for you then carry on. I can only speak for my experiences.

    survivor: you need 2.5 plants, which are easy to encounter, when survivor bringing in 2 offerings, most killers right now have to bring in 1 offering, if they want to get anything done.
    so you have around 5 plants to harvest.

    killers: need 6 hooks. if you bringing in an offering and survivors not at least 3, you can't get 1 vial filled up in 1 go.
    annnnnddddd getting a lobby takes around 5-9 minutes now depending on ur rank.

    while survivor is hit button, find lobby, wait 1 min, let's go.

    Both actually. I easily get 6 hooks in a game. Just that the players need to use ths offerings.

    Wait, I'm wrong on what I said.
    It's only 30 seconds if you do it alone. As team it takes something like 10 seconds. 
    You can't even get to a hook in 10 seconds. Especially if it's on the other end of the map. I use iron grip and agitation. Some hooks are simply to far away, especially if not every survivor made an offering. 

    Killer having to use 2 perks to get the vials vs survivors that can do it in 10 seconds with 2 times more progress.

    But you keep telling yourself it's easier as killer.

    Survivor is faster and easier. I did 30/30 on survivor in ~4,5h, and 30/30 on killer in like 8-9h.

    Survivors only need to harvest 2.5 plants to fill a vial from a max of 7. All you do is hold M1 for a while.

    A Killer needs to use 6 diFFerent hooks to fill a vial out of a max of 7. You need to chase, down and hope you're in range of an event hook.
