Poor Silent Hill
Silent Hill hasn't gotten a single game in... 8 years? meanwhile Resident Evil over here given the fans what they want, I just wanna see how many people are still INTERESTED in Silent Hill even after all this time.

I mean I get the fact it was a good time, but compared to some of the newer games, it just doesn't excite me as much, ( it doesn't get my heart racing).

A lot of people are still asking for more Silent Hill content.
I have never played Silent Hill game but if it is a nostalgic and unforgettable game like The Sims 2 for example, it will never get old.

I think a game called Monsters and mortal recently said they are getting Silent hill as a dlc, which is really surprising for it to come in this soon

I've never played a Silent Hills game, but I've always wanted to. I can't find a way to get SH2 for a reasonable price though.
And I don't own any form of playstation. I can't afford one.
If they made a new game, I would love it. Especially if it was on PC so that I could play it.

The first three have been remastered in one collection. I believe you can buy it on the Xbox/Microsoft store for £24.

Silent Hill is an absolutely timeless series and it will lie on in my heart and many other's hearts for years and years to come, I want more SH content, ######### RE its great and all but SH supremacy for life baby!!!!

Well,Silent Hill came to Dead By Daylight and now it's coming to Monsters and Mortals as a DLC,with Cybil And Heather as playable characters,i would love a new game too but,something is something,im glad its not a pachinko machine for once

There are (apparently) multiple entries in development, although this has only come in the form of supposed outsourcing by Konami and Blooper Team saying they're working on an existing horror game series "from a very famous gaming producer". Also, with Silent Hill appearing as dlc for a couple of games recently (Dbd and Dark Deception), this could be a way of the series testing the water for interest.
However, what may be interesting is that Keiichiro Toyama - creator of Silent Hill - is working on a new horror game which looks very interesting, with the artwork mixing vibes from both Silent Hill and Siren (another of his creations). The link's below if you want a read:

I love the plot and atmosphere in silent hill games but for some reason I always got bored after a while and didn't finish most of them.
Intro from sh1 is still one of my favorites tho and I watch it ocasionally for nostalgia.
