The Twins are both male / both female

As far as I know, conjoined twins come from the same zygote, so they cannot be male and female, either both male or both female. So is it possible that both Charlotte and Victor were both born male or both female, and one of the two later started presenting as a different gender? I'm just throwing this out there because I find it interesting lore-wise.

I have another question the twins lore states:

The twins emerged with Victor's lower body affixed into the chest of his sister, legs twisted around her muscles and organs.

So When Victor eats food where exactly does it come out again? Or is he not able to eat at all despite having a mouth and teeth?

I suppose they used to have a shared digestive tract, maybe Victor was parasitic and would just feed off whatever Charlotte ate kind of like a fetus. Post-Entity Victor is kind of like a zombie so I guess he doesn't need to eat anymore.

There were a pair of opposite sex fraternal twins born in India a few years ago that were born conjoined. It's a lot more rare, but the fetuses can get merged during early development. In those cases they are less likely to share organs, so the idea that he had little legs the whole time kinda makes sense.

As far as the digestion question. Look I just made this account today because I wanted to talk lore with y'all after lurking for a couple weeks, I don't want to immediately be banned so let's just say he likely eats and passes just as normal, and living Charlotte had a few extra issues that are impolite to discuss.

I think as an alternative, it's possible Victor is genetically female, but deformities resulted in an indeterminate sex and Victor was named and declared to be a boy by Madeline. After all, Victor's entire lower body grew within Charlotte making it impossible to confirm, and if Madeline had two seperate names in mind for a boy/girl, it would make sense that's how she would've chosen to name the two.

    Here's 3 theories,

1 - Behaviour didnt made enough research about Conjoined Twins,so maybe they made a mistake

2 - it's a game, there's two characters called Alfred and Alexia from Resident evil CV that are Twins, and they were female and male

3 - maybe they are kinda Transgeneder
