Deathslinger question
So Caleb made the redeemer to catch bountys right? My question is how does it not kill them. It seems like he aims directly for the torso and the spear is fairly large so how does it not kill them. Medical treatment around the 1840s was pretty bad so excessive bleeding would be hard to deal with.

His original "prototype" of the redeemer actually did kill people, but I assume that in lore, he would go for somewhere less... Detrimental than the chest, more likely something like a leg. Enough medical aid can fix that, but shooting the torse is best from a gameplay standpoint.

Considering how brutally they would catch living people, they also had to carry something to at least stop the bleeding. Probably just burned the wounds and poured some booze on it?

What makes you think he brought in his bounties alive, or even wanted to? Plenty of sheriff's willing to pay for proof that the offender won't be causing any more problems

His job was bringing them to a private prison, basically he was let out with the boys so the owner would make more money

This line from his backstory is probably what they're thinking about:
Fill the prison. Use ingenuity to bring outlaws in alive.

Fair enough. :) In that case I agree with Carly, if that was his primary bounty weapon, he almost certainly aimed for limbs
