A message to my fellow killer main
If a survivor uses OoO, tbags, or you see 4 flashlights, 4 toolboxes in the lobby, feel free to put that iri head, that mori, maybe a face camp or two for t baggers. Dont feel intimidated to use them by entitled survivor mains. They wonder why the queue times are long, and they are getting longer.

A better option is to simply ask them to take off the Key.
If they refuse, but say they have an Archive challenge, let them continue. If they refuse and are toxic, tunnel as normal.
If they do take off the Key, be a little nicer to them. It goes a long way :)

There's no pregame chat for consoles. So us killer mains that aren't a part of the PC master race can only assume ill intent

I have that Rift challenge I think it's in Tomb 2 fully deplete three keys so what I did was as I took a Green Key and attached Aura reading to it I can guarantee depleting it which I did but I was tunneled out of the match extremely quickly by a nurse, hit over and over and over again on the hook oh, and she nodded up and down a few times when she downed me

*shrugs * or do the 10 to 5. i get matches faster then killer do as survivor then after about 7 then its time to switch.

In these circumstances I think it's better to prove yourself the better man. You don't have to meet rudeness with rudeness. Survivors are just trying to have fun, it is no big deal.

He's on phase 2. Every killer goes through it.
- Care what survivors think.
- Survivors are mean! Fight back!
- Don't care what survivors think at all.
- Play for Bloodpoints.
- Wait, why am I still playing?
- I'm going to quit tomorrow, I swear it.
- None of this actually matters.
When everyone reaches step 7 so the game is nothing but screwing around and all forms of giving a crap disappear because people realize how pointless it really is, we'll all ascend to nirvana and experience true bliss for eternity.
Or something.
But seriously, every player seems to go through stages, and each time it's like "wow, I'm enlightened! I must tell the world!" Hey man, welcome to stage ___, let me check my watch to see when your next insight will hit.

Not that a Mori's gonna change the outcome much anymore, but i wouldn't dodge such a lobby, even on my Wraith with Common Add-ons only.

I have a better idea. Dodge the lobby. Make them play the lobby simulator for another 10+ minutes.
They will never have a game if all killers do this, and that's the best punishment for them.

I just message them before the game. I can see the profiles on Xbox, so I just send em a quick, Hey man, can you take off that key?

Which I mean, is just further reason we need to be able to differentiate between Green, Purple and Red Keys.
I don't WANT to tunnel someone if they have a Green Key, but I literally cannot tell. Feel for you tho man. I try to ask people if they've got a challenge, but if they don't respond I gotta assume the worst.

Likes on a forum for a video game are so important to me. If I wanted likes i would just make a thread saying how terrible survivors are. Didn't know that I had to write a novel every time I wanna comment on something.

Oh, I guess if I put the steam app on my phone, but there's also the xbox and wiiU platforms to worry about (I'm on ps4). That's such a hassle, especially when you spend the pregame coming up with mnemonic devices to remember what player use what character/outfit and what items they have. 60 seconds is barely enough time!
If they added a pre and post game chat for console i would definately do it though

The best thing to do when you encounter a sweaty SWF team is to just AFK the match. Clean the apartment, start cooking dinner, or watch youtube. I mean, it is the perfect solution as you won't have to suffer abusive survivors and the survivors get the killer they want to play against, ie. a killer who is just there as set dressing. Then, when it is over, you'll just have to wait a minute or two for another game(and your apartment will look better now) while the survivors in the previous game get to wait a long time for their next game. Win-win for everybody.

I never called anyone ignorant. These threads are just a regular occurrence, and while the actual list of stages isn't the most accurate (maybe I should've looked at the stages of acceptance, oops), the sentiment is true. My over-the-top comment was a reply to a previous humorous comment about the pointlessness of this thread, which is true, it is pointless, but it's a result of that "eureka!" moment and is seen a lot amongst players.
I do not share the OP's feelings that face-camping teabaggers is the way to go. Teabaggers want the killer to tunnel them, they want the attention. I ignore them, and they hate it. If/when they get hooked, I treat them like everyone else. I really don't think OP is interested in how other people handle survivors, though.
I've posted plenty of serious comments about improving DbD, but this thread isn't about changing the game. This is the kind of thread where people post silly comments and let off steam.
Step 1: Uninstall the game.
Steps 2-7: Doesn't matter, none of us ever get past step 1.

Or you know, just dodge the lobby if you see that many items, and ignore the OoO? that's usually what I do.
Killers who do this kind of thing always end up facecamping the random who got put in a 3men swf and not the actual swf. What does that accomplish? lol

You've summed up nearly every thread. Most of them are met with sarcastic remarks from people looking to stroke their ego. You'll seldom find a civil discussion in this awful community. Everyone is at eachother's throats here even if people share simple ideas or their opinions on something.

I mean, you kinda implied by the way you phrased it, or at least is what it seems to me. This man just suggested to fight fire with fire to try to disuade the other party from abusing game mechanics or just outright be toxic for no reason.

Tried again last night right before bed. Was smarter with this one (so I thought) right at the start of trial I drained the key and dropped it hoping the killer would notice I did not have it anymore. He killed 2 and left myself and a nea laying on the ground to bleed out for 4 minutes only moving if we moved. If I moved he moved otherwise just stood there staring at me. I had a medkit in my hand at that point. Idk all I can say is at least I only have to drain one more.

I play on xbox with crossplay on. Very rarely do I have an xbox killer. So the message option wont work. We also have to pay to change our names.

It sucks but things like this happening is why my eyes are so wide open as killer. It's why I play killer the way I do. It takes alot to make upset in a trial, I play for fun, always always give hatch, I pay attention to which survivors are doing what to make sure I dont give hatch to a camping useless player who hurt there team. 4 escapes but I got 8+ hook and 4 stacks of BBQ hell thats a great game could have easily won if I targeted someone I just wont. I wont do anything I wont want done to me. period. I'm not saying I don't play hard at beginning but I know when to take my foot off gas and max out my points instead of slugging, tunnneling, and camping at 5 gens. I have noticed I get upset more at killers lately I tried to rain fire down on a ttv streamer last night who was playing freddy. Swear on my four kids rank 1 ttv camping and tunneling with fred. The biggest irony he wasn't live. I wasn't surprised there. Checked out his recent no tunneling and camping but off camera different story.

haha probably. I'm sure there are some people who experience all 7 stages in quick succession on a daily basis, too. DbD is just that kinda game. I bounce back and forth between stages 6 and 7. Sometimes I'm about one button-press away from uninstalling, and others I'm just laughing at the bugs, running some I'm-gonna-lose-but-I'll-have-fun-doing-so meme build, and looking at the game like one big psychology experiment.
