I HAD A HACKER MATCH TODAY... Is this common now?
So I wanted to train Huntress a bit and The first gen poped when I spawned in. Then someone had infinite firecrackers and 100%+ vault speed. Then Dwight went invisable and replayed the sacrifice animation over and over agin. Infinite dead-hard and instand unbreakable(and instand heal). No need to say it was a mess. How can something like this happen in dbd? BHVR has to do something about that NOW!

No, just because you had a match with a cheater doesn't really mean that it is common. In fact, they are pretty rare to see.

I hope you are right

I am, you could ask just about everyone and they would agree. You would see a lot more posts about cheaters if they were all over the place.

I don't even think it's BHVR's fault since they didn't desighn the anti-cheat system. It still suck tho

Yeah, there was a time though when cheaters started to show up because the old anti-cheat stopped working. I think it was about a year ago, 9 months maybe.

A few weeks ago I found a streamer using cheats in game.
He counted how many times he got banned and it was more then 20 times. and he came back with the cheat.
I watched his whole live stream to see if something happens, after 5 or 6 games he got bannd.
They end up blocking such users as long as a lot of people report.
Luckily cheaters are rare.

In my 3 years of playing I can only remember having encountered 2 hackers, but they seem to be a bit more common recently. I've had 3 hackers these last 2 weeks. 2 while playing killer and 1 while playing survivor. They're also more frequent on popular DbD streamers stream. I can remember at least 5 instances of streamers, I watch, getting sniped by a hacker, recently.
So something is definitely happening.

Not that common. I've had maybe 5 of these matches in the 2000 hours I've been playing. Blatant obvious hackers like that are rare.
I'm more concerned with the "non-obvious" hackers, like the ones using wallhacks.

They really have been all over the place more often you can look up dbd hacker videos on YouTube and there are alot more as of recently than there ever has been in my experience playing the game, I've played since day 1 and up until this past year I could count on one hand how many times I've seen a hacker but the hack he is talking about is becoming more widespread and I saw it twice in the past week with other teammates using it in the match taunting the killer playing the hook animation over and over again in their face

Even then, I feel like they aren't that common. I myself did find a match with one cheater and possibly another one (funniest part was that she almost died while using cheats, I grabbed her and hooked her twice and almost a third time). However even with this experience, I would still say that it is a problem, but a smaller one. It doesn't happen enough to ruin games like others.

Once we transition to dedicated servers it will become easier to detect and ban such hackers.
