Matchmaking has been better than ever
Trying to learn Plague has been really stressful with this kind of matchups. It's hard to believe there were no survivors of a lower rank than 1 to fill those slots. My killer queues are instant but it feels like beginner killers are just getting thrown to the wolves so that high rank SWFs can play.

To many survivors and not enough killers to go round so you just get thrown in with however has been waiting the longest.
We can hope MMR myn't help but I don't know how it would fix that problem honestly.

I wonder if the green rank was the host of that lobby, just by looking at the perks seems to look like a 4 man SWF and because they had a green rank hosting they ran into you due to similar rank/MMR.. I personally think this was done purposely by the survivors to avoid red rank killers and to practice more against less experienced killers.. I could be wrong though..

Nobody wants to play killer anymore because of how stressful it is. After the devs nerfed Undying to the ground even though survivors complained about wanting more objectives, a lot of killer players left/took a break from DBD.
The best thing we can hope for at this point is for the devs to either balance the game/slap a bloodpoint bonus onto killer/fix matchmaking & make a new system for it.
I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

@Antrapace I play killer in the evening when getting a lobby as a survivor takes too long. Matchmaking is all over the place in both modes but I think you're right that evenings are even worse.
@Kirkylad Sadly the killer to survivor ratio won't improve as a result. Matchmaking feels almost non-existent to me. At the most one survivor is properly matched with the killer.
@MikeyBoi Interesting. I remember when the matchmaking started using the lowest rank survivor in a SWF as base. I have some fond memories of finally not having to wait 20+ minutes in queue as rank 20 killer but being matched with SWF groups with 3 red ranks and one rank 20 survivor. And the red ranks doing everything in their power to protect the "baby survivor" from the big bad killer. Then it got changed to use the highest rank as base. I'd be surprised if it has been reverted.
@Karao_Ke I just came back from a half year break myself and I'll be gone again before long. Meanwhile I've had some fun times on my other killers but mostly on survivor learning to be efficient and to make the best of a match with a random team. I got excited to try learning Plague again but god, it's been rough... The not existent matchmaking is accelerating the process of making DbD more trouble than it's worth again XD

I honestly don't blame you for leaving. The game is a mess right now & obviously we don't want to deal with the result of that.
With this being said, I play Plague sometimes and I recommend doing the Down n Puke. Usually survivors expect you to do nothing but puke on them when you're next to them. Instead, give them a bop on the head and once you down them, then you can puke on them. They never expect it.

Thank you for the advice! I noticed I've been obsessing with getting the puking right and have been reluctant to use M1 even when it would be tactically better.
I've been trying to get survivors infected whether by puking on them or puking strategically on objects. The trouble is they cleanse faster than I can infect them and I am far from using the Corrupt Purge at its full potential. I'm trying to learn how to balance between Vile and Corrupt and apply pressure properly. The killers I usually play are Hag, Pig and Legion so Plague feels very different.

Yeah unless they get more people playing killer MMR is just going to be pretty redundant tbh.
