Was Hoarder nerfed?
I am probably a bit late but was Hoarder nerfed? I remember it having a secondary effect were items in chest were decreased in rarity. I could be wrong though. Was it OP or something?
I just noticed as I was doing my Adept Twins. That’s a bummer. Would’ve been nice if they made those 2 extra chest not not have anything and give them the exposed status for 30 seconds or something.

The secondary effect is bugged. Fix unknown.

They wanted to have decreased item rarity in chests, but it bugged out. They discovered that their current code just couldn't support it. Supposedly, the way Hoarder is now isn't the final version and it will get an upgrade of some sort, but I doubt the devs have any idea of what they can do or when it'll be ready.

It was removed due to not working when the patch went live. Fix ETA, if ever.
I wouldn't run it personally. The first matches I played with it spawned three chests with keys xD

It's strange to me that Plunder's is just fine but Hoarder isn't supported by the code. I get that code can be uncooperative sometimes, but they should have been able to work that out.

I think I read Almo (not 100% sure) say that they intentionally removed the decreased item luck from the perk, cause of issues with the code contradicting Plunderers Instinct, so they had to remove it.

Sometimes issues like this one with Hoarder make me paranoid about what other things could be broken that we would never know about. If Up the Ante actually gave 2 or 4 percent increase in luck, who would ever know? What if Plunderer's has been broken for five patches and erroneously reduces the amount of maps you get? What if the odds of getting a skillcheck glitched to 1/22, instead of 1/20? Perish the thought, what if the hook progression increase from Monstrous Shrine got applied to every hook, but only when Monstrous was equipped?
There's tons of back end information in this game that could die on us at any moment, and there'd be no way to know that there's even a problem.

I wish it was like 4 extra chests or something super significant. Just loot everywhere to distract the survivors from gens and make it more viable as a tracking perk.

Well a toolbox does kinda compensate for the lost time, and your chances of getting one are pretty high
