New object of obsesion
I would like to start by saying thank you to the devs for showing us this early concept with the community.
however i have some concerns with this change, especially when paired against hex:undying. granted this would be a rare encounter but it makes the already nerfed perk (hex:undying) even worse. a single survivor could sit on a dull totem constantly giving out the killers location.
i just wanted to make this combo known for the rest of the community to discuss.

What do you mean constantly giving out the killer's location? They will only see each other's auras for the duration of Undying's aura reveal, which is 6 seconds, isn't it?

If a survivor wants to waste their time sitting on a dull totem, not bothering to break it, on the off chance a hex will transfer to it while looking for my position, I say let them. Their team won't like it, but it's their choice to make the game 3v1

If one survivor does sit on a dull totem to give out the killer's location to the rest of the team. They made the game a 3v1. I don't see this being an abuseable strat, because it's basically asking for the killer to ignore the OoO and kill the other 3 survivors doing gens first.
You could make the same complaint about MoM and OoO, because if a survivor gets the MoM endurance proc and then heals back to full health they now can see the killer from 16+m away all the time. But the set up they would have to go to get MoM to go off for that is such a huge investment that it's not going to see much play.

I personally would love to see this change as it doesnt nerf the perk into the ground

There's no cooldown. You can step out of the radius and back in the reset it.

But then you are literally doing nothing. You're just running around a totem to see the killer and can't do anything else efficiently. I think this would be a decent change to OoO to make it healthier for the game.

Ummm nope, I think new Undying's aura reveal will work with dull totems, not hex totems.

I wasn't saying it was a good strategy or something that the Devs need to worry about. I was just telling you that you theoretically could use undying and OoO to always see the killer because there's no cooldown.

Not always. Only if killer has undying and only when you around of 1 of 3 dull totems. I think any killer would be ok with that.

Hey if a survivor's gonna sit next to a totem being literally useless to shout out your location I'm fine with that, far far far better than them currently being able to do it while working on a gen. I won't ever run Undying but I'm sure the people who do use this perk won't care in the slightest.
