What's the deal with pallet saves?

When do i do it? If I bonk a killer picking up a survivor it doesn't work if it's too early? Like what? I have to wait until they're done picking them up and give them a chance to walk away from the pallet? Seems busted to me...

    You have to wait until the pickup animation has fully ended. There's plenty of time to pull it off because the pallet collision zone is pretty wide.

    You know about Flashlight saves yes? The timing for that is when the Killer tilts they're head slightly. Pallet saves are similar.


    You wanna throw the pallet as the animation ends, when the Killer gets control. Remember if you're struggling you can bodyblock to slow the Killer down
