    Adrenaline, Fixated, Sprint Burst, Deception

Inner Strength, Head On, Quick & Quiet, Fixated

Meta perks (if you want to be a low skill but high reward player):

DS, BT, DH, SG (this build will hold you back from improving overall)

There's many builds man, but there's 3 off the top of my head. Just gotta experiment and find out what fits your playstyle the most and fine tune it. I would personally avoid DS and DH, they are extreme crutches and against great killer mains, they get nullified. Good luck.

  • My build for solo is Iron Will, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, and Resilience.

Bad teammates are often scared to do gens alone and hide whenever they're injured so maybe Bond+Prove Thyself ? That way you can always find scared chickens, heal them quickly and motivate them to work on a gen with you and Prove Thyself removes the efficiency de-buff so win-win situation.

The other 2 perk slots can be used for whatever you feel you need for your own survival. An exhaustion perk of your choice and DS for instance.

I actually tried a build like that. Bond, Open handed, Prove Thyself, and Better together, still didn't work

I need a build that helps with gens, and allow me to get good teammates

How about Plunder’s Instinct, Ace in the Hole, Spinechill and Iron Will?

I have been using this build to farm items and, Jesus Christ, I get keys almost every match. Saved me when everyone else died.

If you don’t get a key you can always bribe the killer with a medkit.

I did try appraisal, ace in the hole, plunderers before but wasn't too useful tbh

It’s hard for people to answer your question when they don’t know how much map sense and experience you have as survivor in general. If you can run killers very well with very minimal mistakes I’d recommend vault build: ( spine chill and resilience) Iron will and Deadhard. Feel free to swap out spine chill with Borrowed time or Decisive Strike.

What is mandatory: Bond or Kindred

Bond: have information as to where your teammates are, and in chase to not bring the killer to your teammates accidentally

Kindred: to make sure someone is being saved and to better plan what you are doing and if you need to go for a save instead of assuming

The three perks are your choice. Depends on your playstyle. I'd experiment to see what you like

I will recommend though, try to be as independent as possible, particularly with healing. I would recommend self care/inner strength (particularly the latter). That's also why perks like Unbreakable, Deliverance, etc. are useful as well to an extent

I use inner strength all the time one of my favorite perks out there. Deliverance is hard for me to use cause I get chased first a lot of the times, and I don't like unbreakable cause I don't get much use out if when I use it tbh

Absolute best build for selfish solo queue.

    • Plunderer, Appraisal, Left Behind, Iron Will

The one perk which carried me for years in solo queue is kindred. Do not underestimate it's potential, it will never get you to second hook stage and you will always know where everybody is and what they're doing when someone else is hooked. It makes solo queue teammates much more efficient than they usual are lol.

    No such thing.

The only way to help your teammates help you is to run perks like Aftercare, Kindred and Better Together. If you don't want those perks just forget you have teammates and fish for a key and escape by yourself.

    Why no Kindred?

    Your concerns are understandable

My build at the moment is iron will/windows of opportunity, borrowed, kindred, and sprint burst

you can swap out kindred for bond,m and sprint burst for any exhaustion perk of your choice (that's not head on!)

Bond is the absolute worst perk to use when you keep getting crappy teammates.

It just lets you see every single bit of their incompetence throughout the entire game.

There are no perks which allows you to get good teammates, but I can advise you to try this:

Better Together, Prove Thyself, Iron Will, Exhaustion Perk or Inner Strength.

It's Solo Queue. We always get the bottom of the barrel for teammates my build involves Kindred with Iron Will, Sprint Burst/Lithe, Self Care/Inner Strength. My sneaky build is Fixated, Urban Evasion, Sprint Burst and Self Care. Self Care/Inner Strength because I don't want to depend on teammates to heal me

Another combo I used to use which was fantastic is Better Together and Prove Thyself. Better together really is awesome in solo queue cuz it brings people to your gens and almost reminds them of gens existing.

I tried better together but it just ends up with the person bringing the killer to you

I personally do pretty good always running Bond, Visionary, and Open Handed.

I know where gens are and do my objective, I know which teammates are worth my time, which I need to avoid, where chases are, or whether a chase is coming my way.

Fourth perk slot will either be Leader so I can be healed faster, or WoO, Buckle Up (predominantly to know if a slug is a waste of my time or not, because I’m not getting off a gen for somebody not recovering), or occasionally Technician if I want to be more chill during games.

Detective's Hunch, Quick and Quiet, Inner Strength, and whatever fourth perk you fancy. I know you said no Kindred, but it does give you alot of valuable information. Bond would also be a good fourth. All dependent on your play style.

There is only one build for solo queue:

Every Man For Themselves: Dead Hard + Decisive + Adrenaline + Iron Will (replace Adrenaline for Left Behind & a key if you want a true rely-on-yourself experience).

Tired of relying on teammates & their incompetence? Have a backup plan😎

I get used to Sprint burst. All other perks can be anything. Lately I was memeing with Plunderer's Instinct, Built to Last and Streetwise.

Secret of Sprint burst is never walk. Waste it everytime you need to run, don't save it. Only proper way to save sprint is running while you have it on last second cooldown when it possible. So when killer find you, you gonna be ready to sprint away.

Another perks I find extremely useful in solo queue are Iron will, Empathy and Borrowed time. Using it with Sprint burst was my sweaty build.

    Depends on what you like.

For me my most common build that I use when I play survivor is iron will, bt, wglf and bond.

For when I'm tired of not having obsessions.

Any obsession perk (currently using MoM) bond/kindred, bt and wglf.

Well, what is your goal? To survive? To carry the team? to get more points than the killer? All of these can be done, but not in one build.

What's valuable with Kindred isn't the information it gives you. It's the information it gives your teammates.

That is why Kindred, Aftercare and Blood Pact are very good.

Spine chill, dark sense, iron will, wake up

  • thrawn3054
    thrawn3054 Member Posts: 5,897

Both are valuable. But if your team won't use that information it's useless. You can guarantee that you'll make use of the information.

Kindred is pretty god tier in solo queue. It helps to herd the sheep.
