BHVR when they release the new UI to live and everyone still hates it
How many times do we have to tell them this new UI is garbage?
The console players saw it and even they agreed with everyone who played it saying it's literally the worst possible UI they could have ever made.
So the real question is, how much backlash are they willing to take? Everyone is gonna be angry at them till either the UI improves or is reverted back to the old one.
So what will they do I wonder?

They will just push it through, i guess.

They won't revert it unless it becomes a fiasco of the proportions of the colorblind options. They spent time and money to make the new UI. They can't just go to their bosses and say "hey, you know that UI that absolutely nobody ever asked for and we still went ahead and made, instead of fixing the plethora of years old bugs? Yeah, 95% of the players hate it. So, we're just gonna scrap it but thanks for the paychecks". That's not how companies work. Invested resources need to be justified.
They're pushing it to live with the pretext of the console feedback (as if console players have differently functioning eyes, apparentely). Then, in a few weeks, the backlash is gonna get drowned by the launch of the new chapter.

They'll probably pull the "You're not used to it yet". Even though many players have pointed out clear flaws in the design of the new UI such as how much your eyes need to move and how the characters changing confuses both experienced and newer players.

As a Console player, it is ~3 hours until the update drops, hopefully. I bet that the new UI will drop performance.
Also, I'm blind as ######### and I'm just gonna have to deal with it i guess lmao

I don't get it either,you could show this UI to any UI developer ever and everybody would ask what amateur did this.
It's amazing that they were able to create an UI that is literally the opposite of how an UI should look like and STILL think that it's ok even if the overwhelming majority of the community hates it.

Plot twist.. they cancelled the UI update. They have to at this point.

They really ######### up this time, they're pushing this horrible UI update during an event... so even tho it looks like crap we're gonna be forced to play for bloodpoints and they gonna use that as info that we LIKE the new UI and they're gonna shove it down our throats and we'll be stuck with it till we quit the game for good....

So they ask for feedback, people tell them its trash and they still go through with it. This is a new low even for them.

Super Plot Twist: the cancelled all future updates to the game. That's why we still haven't seen the midchapter patch even though we expected it two weeks ago.

I wonder if they somehow built the patch around the new UI so removing it would take a really long time. If they do remove it, I’d expect them to do so with the next chapter.

If they don't revert this change by the next update, then I'll probably lose what little hope I have for the Devs listening to feedback.
I get that removing new changes they've implemented in the PTB in time for the main update is difficult and time-consuming, so I'm willing to wait for one more update to let them do what they have to do.
I seriously hope they listen though, but you know, it's BHVR.

Yeah that is one thing, this new UI if it stays will make me quit the game, already went into detail the many things that make it that drastic, but it isn't just so simple as fixing it in days, they need time - However if they haven't either fixed or said they plan to make changes of it by the time the next chapter is out, that's when you should start to get concerned, it's funny though how they've made popular changes such as changes to moris, Undying, DS, proposed object changes and gotten so much goodwill from them, yet it'll all be completely thrown away if they stick with this UI

I'm thinking of making a weekly thread reminding everyone how terrible the UI is. I've been against it from the start and I have nothing nice or supportive to say about it. It is terrible from any design standpoint you can take. How it ever even became a concept and then had enough support to become the chosen one is actually painful to try to imagine. Just, HOW?

I'm pretty sure if the negative feedback keeps on piling up for month, they'll eventually have to change it to a form we'll enjoy. For now, there wasn't enough time for any significant changes between PTB and live so I would suggest patience with some persistence.

BHVR is colossally stubborn, horrendously mismanaged, or they simply don't understand object permanence as it relates to player feedback. Those are the 3 possibilities as to why bug ridden updates with terrible "features" like this keep getting pushed. They are so lucky to have a monopoly on this genre
