New UI & dbd toolbox
Does ANYONE think this new UI looks good? cause personally and i put this in my feedback for them, i think it looks horrid, looks like the old UI exploded and now we got this, why not just add the player portraits and the hook event stuff AN NOT MOVE ANYTHING. it would have looked perfectly fine, i don't understand, the new UI makes your eyes have to be looking at 4 spots at once at all times, why is this a thing?
Anyone know if dbdtoolbox will still work or did they make that trash change as well?

The worst update in DBD history, can’t decide whats worse.. the new HUD or the new survivor movement.. can’t even 360 anymore.

Don't really care about the 360's they didn't work half the times anyways the UI is ######### for sure though.

Agree,been playing this game since console realease in mid 2017 and no update was THIS bad.
Like,the new HUD extremely strains my eyes and gives me headaches.It's awful

Survivor movement really takes the cake though. I can't stand the janky movements and crouch walking is so much nosier and wonky it's weird. I'm sure the devs worked hard on this but I wish they would listen to their fans because this update might make me stop playing. I liked the simplicity of the game before all of this, but now it's an eyesore.

Ah i think the ui might grow on me, but not the animations. They are just stiff, looks early acces, very unpleasant to watch.

Not sure how the UI could grow on you when it looks like the old one exploded, it it a constant strain on so may players eyes and causes headaches, i haven't played the update but i'v seen enough though streams to know it's not worth playing.

I don't think it looks that bad. The old one does look better, but they said they needed to space everything up in order to fit more stuff that they want to put in. I think it just takes some getting used to.

If they put anything more on that UI you're not going to be able to see or keep track of ANYTHING it already looks like a mess and no one can look everywhere at once it just makes everyone's game play experience worse.

i disagree, got to give the devs a small amount of credit, like the old UI looked nice and everything was in a good stop to keep track of, so they had a good UI a monkey couldn't have made that.

I'm sad to say that this might top off the twins chapter. Graphics and Animations are awesome but the new UI is absolute dog #########. Hopefully they listen and do something about it

considering they didn't when they had the feedback from the ptb and even the fogwhispers, where saying it's bad i doubt they truly care what we think.

I'm starting to feel that way. They said they wanted our opinions but I think that was a way to tell all the steam players to stfu and if nothing gets changed by the next chapter I might drop this game for good. It's not worth the pain and eye strain

i can't blame you, i'm up to 2,200 hours and after all this i'm considering dropping it over the UI i can get over the new animation, but with the UI and the map "rebalances" auto haven maps didn't even get loops touched still nothing but safe loops all over the map i may just be done, hope the devs are happy with 15 minute survivor ques cause that's one less killer .

There's no way I'm touching killer until this UI gets fixed. I'll save myself the headache

sadly i doubt it will be fixed, the back lash will have to be pretty hard and with all the people that pay for the cosmetics that got released with today, it's not going to be fixed any time soon .

You can, but it's much harder now.
It is however, a bit more effective once you figure it out. This may be because killers are not used to the new movement either.

Most games have the UI spread out, as I said I think looking at the right place at the right time will just take time getting used to.

you shouldn't have to look all over the screen and look "at the right time" cause you could miss information and that's horrid.

Sometime you can miss information by not paying attention to the HUD. It's atrocious how we have to look all around the screen for information that should be easily applicable to us

Yeah no this update sucks. I think what's most insulting is that they ran a PTB and didn't listen to the feedback, why are they fixing things that aren't broken? this game has too many bugs atm to be worrying about the UI which no one was complaining about to begin with, and even the new animations are so stiff.

well since you whiny babies freaking love to bash on the 4.5 update, Behaviour has now moved all the Useless Information (that's what I'm calling it now) to the BOTTOM of the screen! you happy NOW, you little Caillou wannabes?! 😡
