12 files failed to verify and needs redownloading... for 16 GB!
I just spent 3 hours downloading the patch. I was spending some bloodpoints on Wraith and got a message, saying i changed my game files and needs verify (I never touch those files).
Then, after i verify the files, i need to download 16 GB worth of content again to get back to the game! What's happening? Why do i need to redownload 16 GB when i did nothing wrong?

Same happened to me. Obviously whoever programmed the Steam patch did it wrongly. I had to verify steam cache to redownload 10 files, as you had to do.

That means i have to wait for another 10+ hours just to re-downloading the game... Man, this patch is already bad, and this makes it even worse.

This is most unfortunate. Better check your hard disk for bad sectors.

The problem with the constant patches is that sometimes files mess up, Idk if its your internet or storage that is slow to make the download take 10 hours
but yea every year or so you will probably have to reinstall the game on steam due to the stacking of small file errors

10 hours? What backwater country do you live in?
I live in a country with some of the slowest internet in the world (Philippines) and it only takes me around 3 hours to download 16GB.

I'm not too far from you actually, and I can't afford faster internet. But that doesn't mean it's okay for them to ask us to download the game again like this, especially with the huge backlash happens right now.
I'm willing to try the patch, but things like this makes my heart drop even further.
