Demogorgon's noise overload
So I don't see this discussed often but can the developers consider toning down his noise output as they are making a passover on his kit? He makes so much noise at one time. His screaming makes sense but coupled with the gurgling sound [breathing, footsteps and more], it can be too much. Survivors' breathing isn't heard that well and already their footsteps are lowered to give them a chance. Oni and huntress isn't even like this. I actually am starting to play with Stridor to track them when injured.

Demogorgon is supposed to sound like this. He/She/It isn't a human. It's a beast. So yes it's going to make a lot of sound because usually that's what animals do when hunting, or in this case, a cross-dimensional creature. Also, Doctor has extremely heavy breathing when he's walking, the same as Wraiths growling sounds.

Unsure if OP means to tone down the sounds from the Killer's perspective
He is kind of noisy which makes it hard to listen out for survivors at times. If he had keen animal senses he should be able to hear things around him so might make sense to tone down his sounds a bit from the perspective of the person controlling him.

I'd like the devs to turn down the killer noises for all killers (from the killer's POV). I tried playing Demo with the volume up and I didn't make it through an entire match before muting the TV. And why wouldn't I mute it? I can't hear anything over him, he totally drowns out important survivor noises, and his own sounds are so repetitive and loud that I just... I can't take it. Nope.

I think a volume slider for killer noises at the very least would be fine at the least. I know the devs want loud noises on the killers side to handhold survivors into getting away mid chase, but I shouldn't think my volume is fine just to have Demo blow up my eardrums with my next action. The difference is too much imo.

I'm agreeing with OP. Playing as Demogorgon is very tiring and unpleasant because of constant onslaught of noises coming from him. You have repetitive stomping, loud piercing shrieks when kicking gen, during Shred and after hitting a Survivor, its too much. I really want to play more as Demo but the sound overload really puts me off.

Finally someone said it. I can only tolerate one match of demo per session, the noises are just way too much.
Same thing with Billy, ever since they gave him the yell, and made the chainsaw noise get higher pitched after using it I can't stand playing him anymore.

I don't mind demo making noise when he its a survivor but almost everything else is far too much noise. "Let me use my super stealthy portal *ungodly scream*"

I love playing Demo, but he does need to be quieter. His "stealth" coming out of his portals is trash.

Plus his footsteps are loud so they will hear him arriving. He is totally no stealth killer. More of an 'oblivious' killer. Which is why I put retribution.

Yes. Thank you. You response is what I am saying.

Yeah all killer please. Currently chase music and sounds are just so ridiculously loud it feels like they're intentionally trying to make it hard for me to hear.
Especially annoying on Plague with the sound of her Corrupted Purge whispers blaring out everything.

Yes. He is loud, I am ok with him screaming when hitting or missing. It's the noises that happen when I play as him. His footsteps, breathing, gurgling with your teleport is available and more is too much altogether. Oni, Huntress, Doc, and Wraith do not have noise overload like Demo, in my experience. I want to play as Demo but it's uncomfortable at times and i have to use a perk slot to make it a bit better for my gameplay.

Yes. All of this. Yes.

That would be nice, but I doubt they will do it . I just have so much doubt that anything good will ever happen in this game....the DS and OoO changes that are not even out yet gave me hope but then this update came along...

They just take so long with these updates that it feels like they don't care much.

idk what animal you saw making a lot of noise when hunting. They are usually stealthy and trying to make little to no noise while on a hunt, not screaming, gurgling and panting

I just hope when the devs look into Demo, they take a listen to his noise from the killer's perspective

Hear me out:
1-Equip Mad Grit
2-Down a Survivor
3-Use them as a backpack
4-Spam M1 to victory and impaired hearing
5-Profit

Am I the only one who feels like demo makes survivor noises occasionally while breaking pallets/walls or after hitting someone?

Lol that can be done with any other killer. I am just making known a Demo specific quality of life suggestion.
