Day 2of 4.5.0. Let's keep the momentum going!
To everyone that is upset over the most recent patch and the lack of communication via BHVR at this time I invite you to hold strong and not play the game/spend any money at this point in time. This patch was dropped with a myriad of issues that make the game unplayable on both sides along with content that nobody asked for. Enough is enough. Many of us have spent the cost of several games or even more on DbD and we constantly get broken update after broken update. It's just not fair to us that constantly line BHVR's pockets and in return they give us a faulty product.
Now I'm not a game designer. I don't even know the first thing about coding. So I'm not expecting these to be fixed immediately. As far as I know, as of this moment, there has been zero communication from BHVR about this patch. I would like to see some communication from BHVR whether it be an apology, a commitment to tackling these issues, or hell even just some type of statement acknowledging them before I decide to play again or drop money on the Rift/cosmetics.
Yesterday within hours after the release of the update queue times were the longest I've ever seen them. BHVR wants this to blow over like it always does and most likely expects people to just return to the game. Let's keep up the momentum and let BHVR know that we're upset.

Agreed, this patch is unacceptable

100% agree, they need to start talking and stop ignoring it

I Had been playing DBD for approx. 4 years. This time the 4.50 update seems to be the worst update, that I can't bear...
I felt BAD on this update :
1, the status icons of 4x survivors : difficult to see who is injured and difficult to read the how many blood left when someone is on hook.
2, the hit box of killer seems get wider, more easy to hit survivors.
3, the view angle is weird, very inconvenient since we already get familar with the view angle before.

The patch is awful

Not even being alarmist it’s a bad update. The running looks worse, the crouching looks worse, the HUD is a step back and looks cheap, the hit boxes are bugged.
Used to love this game. Played for over a year and spent money on perks and characters.
BHVR: listen to your community. We don’t like these changes.

Sadly there's more players ingame now than yesterday, just being ingame increases steam stats for DBD, dont be ingame, we need to protest

Agreed. I'm just taking a break from the game until the next update. If the next update fixes these issues, I'll happily return. If not, I will definitely be playing it a lot less than before. The game isn't fun in its current state, so I have no reason to spend my time and money on it.
This is easily one of the worst patches for any game I've personally experienced in recent years.

Ugh. I haven't even logged in yet. That's not what I wanted to hear. :(

I thought something was off when i got hit like never before. I deranked 3 ranks by now and finally i know why. This update has more bugs than i thought. I actually wasnt suprised or were sure because of the last (broken) chapter. Maybe i will pause this game again

I don't think this patch comes close to the Twins update which was logically the worst one in front of darkness among us

Wholeheartedly agree. Not spending another dime until this gets fixed

No worries, I haven't been playing since they announced the Update back on PTB

I think it's bad in the sense that in the aftermath of the A Binding of Kin fiasco, BHVR came out with reassureances that things were going to change. And here we are in the very next large patch after that one with history repeating itself.
This patch in isolation might not be the worst (still top 3), but the cumulative effect is what's causing major damage.
