plz plz plz revert this update till this is fixed. The hitboxes are so busted now its seriously unplayable. I promise u with my whole heart that my connection is fine as all my friends are also getting hit like this and my ping was around 50. I dont want to be that guy that is always whining but why was an update like this actually allowed to go to live?

I'm a killer main and my hits are hitting survivors over downed pallets. Something is wrong.

its the opposite for me. I was playing customs with my friends and everytime one of us would play killer we would agree the hits looked good from the killer pov but not for surv pov

What I'm noticing more and more with these examples is that the red stain isn't lined up with where it normally is. Its almost like the killer's position is no longer indicated by their character model but rather the red stain.

Yeah those pictures are pretty much spot on. I think from the killer's POV it looks normal and close enough, but the survivor's POV has like 5 meters between you and killer

Whenever I'm playing killer it initially looks fine, and then right after they're downed it just inches them forward a bit too much to show where they actually were.

They arent instant b/c a lot of survivors have either closed the game or are playing killer. Aint nobody want to deal with that, you're almost guaranteed to depip with this garbage hit validation system. Then we got Mandy the forum mod saying 'nothing has changed'. Its astonishing how horrible this update is. Only good thing about it are the map reworks/graphic updates to them.

One of my first games after the patch it was against a clown and at one point myself (a Feng), and another Feng were standing together behind a pillar on The Game. We were standing side-by-side, shoulder to shoulder. The Clown came around the pillar on the other Feng's side, swung, and hitboxes are so borked he hit ME on her other side. She was untouched.

Well this makes a lot of sense we were all getting hit from the moon yesterday. For some reason i didn't think to attach it to the patch because you know its dbd and these things happen all the time for nothing. Its absolutely ridiculous right now though. Lame

Glad (or not glad, I guess) to see that I'm not the only one noticing a LOT more BS hits. I literally could NOT STOP getting hit through pallet drops yesterday, or getting hit when I was sure I had more distance in a random spot. It's not like I don't get how to throw a pallet without getting hit, even in a close situation. I really, really don't understand what is going on because it doesn't even seem like the typical laggy killer sort of thing (and it has happened WAY more often than it did prior to the update) and my ping has been good in these games, too.
Hope whatever it is gets fixed, I don't even think it is related to laggy killers at this point.

This patch is so messed up right now that yesterday I used Dead Hard to reach a pallet, threw the pallet, got hit through the pallet, and I wasn't even exhausted. WHAT?

I can't play this game either side now with this in effect - it sucks being a survivor and it's feels cheap being a killer.

Well, not for me. I get pallet stunned at pallets when the survivors drop it too late and I already are on the other side on my screen, but the game teleports me back and stuns me.

I've been getting a lot of undeserved hits as killer, especially through windows, for a long time now. Also hitting survivors after I've been pallet stunned, while good for me, is rage inducing for survivors.
I dont care what the devs say. Theres a serious problem with hitboxes. If it's "latency" then they need to do something about it because it's getting worse it seems.
