Why Appraisal got nerfed?
It no longer increases chest unlocking speed, only rummaging speed.
I know you said that unlocking speed bonus wasnt intentional.
HOWEVER, nobody really used this perk even before this fix! Now it is even less appealing to use.

I don't know. Being able to loot a chest twice is still appealing for a chest build.

If devs fixed the bug because it made Appraisal too overpowered when paired with Pharmacy...

As @Phasmamain said, it's because Pharmacy already does that.
If Appraisal also just did Pharmacy's effect but better, there would be absolutely no reason to use Pharmacy ever. Pharmacy has to have something over Appraisal. Besides, Appraisal's still definitely a solid perk. You can get a lot of items.

It got nerfed a long time ago. Like, 1 week after it came out.
The perk is strong but almost nobody uses it. It seriously didn't need a nerf.
LOL sure because opening chests stuns the killer leaves them blind and makes them fat so they can't pass through god bus.

Pharmacy only grants a guaranteed green medkit once per trial, after that it only unlocks chests faster.

Oh lol ik but I though Appraisal gave you 3 green med-kits because of how it was worded before.
