They destroyed even bodyblock at hook!
Bad UI? Bad animation?
Even bodyblock RIP!

Thank god, body blocking is toxic

Pretty good job so far

It was like that before patch too. You lose collision with the killer while in the post-hit speedboost state. There are many problems with this patch, but this aint one of them.
89 -
Or its an expression of skill by a great survivor team trying to protect one of their fallen....
Anything that reduces skill in this game is terrible, because the skill ceiling is what gives it the replayability that keeps people going for thousands of hours.
4 -
Lol, no. It's a tactic, there even achievement for body blocking and taking hits while kiler is carrying a survivor.
37 -
No, this was a thing even before this patch. When a killer hits you, your character has no collision with the killer for a brief moment. This is an intended feature to prevent killer from trapping a survivor in the corner.
45 -
Still, 3 gens left and they're trying to deny the killer a hook...kinda poor sport
3 -
Hey, Streamer can just be Pro Player's 🤐
1 -
Killers can´t body block the hook. So why should survivors be able to block a hook?
16 -
i didnt see that before. every time when i bodyblocked killer i got hit at hook and if i dont move he cant hook survivor
1 -
It never worked that way. The killer can't perform an action for a few seconds, but after that, they can hook. But you sitting still never completely negated everything the killer tried.
So, I guess if you never saw it before, you were just going against idiots.
6 -
This is fine with me. Bodyblocking hooks is typically only used by SWF and they could use a nerf or two. I play solo survivor and no-one ever tries to body block hooks for me.
4 -
Its a bug, I refuse to believe they did this on purpose

Look, someone who desn't know what Mad Grit is :D
4 -
Did what? This video shows nothing new. It was always like that.
4 -
How is this cheating? The killer is also able to bodyblock. Its part of the game and it also should be.
5 -
Just look at this. when i bodyblocked before always was like this
1 -
Mad Grit would be a solution IF killers could see that survivors are SWF.
3 -
Look, someone who doesn't know Mad Grit is a hugely situational perk which is not worth 1 of 4 slots a Killer has available because the pressure of any half decent survivor team mean they must run one of a very small pool of meta perks at all times :D
6 -
The Power of Teamwork?
4 -
Yeah, this should be removed. Just like face camping was removed with the introduction of swivel hooks.
1 -
But we both know why killers being able to see who is SWF would be a bad idea.
I've been playing solo for a long time, but back when i used to play with friends i always told them the stay on gens unless gates were open. It's way better to give them the hook than stop working on gens.

Then don't complain about bodyblocks maybe? The counter is there, if it bothers you so much then use it.

The game was (and still is) designed around 5 solo players with no communication.
If killers had a SWF indicator, they could dodge. But how is this any different, than that other thread, where someone proposed to vote ban certain killers? Just one side wanting to have an easier match. Would be a shame, if the other side also would want an easier match, wouldn´t it?
4 -
Yeah i saw that thread and it was nonsense. People already told OP why that is a bad idea too.
3 -
killers cant drop pallets, so why should survivors be able to do it?
And it already worked like that before this patch, idk if it has always been like that but it has been for a few months, most people simply don't know about it.
3 -
Like I said, it's too situational to be worth running as you basically need to have auto-include perks like Corrupt, Pop, BBQ and then others depending on your Killer.
Also it's a complete guess whether the current lobby is a SWF, and then another guess if its a SWF that would use the bodyblock tactic (or a good SWF that will split on gens and not cluster up). So your argument to just use Mad Grit is flawed.
0 -
But honestly, why are people so scared that killers get a SWF indicator? Whenever the SWF problem pops up, people claim, that there are barely SWF players out there and that the majority of the playerbase plays solo. IF that would be true, then this indicator would have a minor impact and shouldn´t bother most players.
Unless, we have far more SWF players than everyone wants to admit. Because in that case, the devs would need to balance around SWF instead of solo queue.

Years ago, killers could body block the hook. Making it impossible for survivors to unhook. Because the "hold m1 to unhook" prompt wouldn´t show up. Just like it doesn´t show up, when survivors body block the hook.
It was removed for killers. Why wasn´t it also removed for survivors? That would have been fair, because body blocking the hook is horrible for both sides.
3 -
Guess what, BOTH survivors and killers have to take their chances when selecting their perks, survivors even more since killers can see what items are gonna be used before starting the match.
My comment was aimed to someone who called "cheaters" to bodyblockers and i assumed he hated people doing that, that's why i said "if it bothers you so much then run this perk". It's not a matter of how situational or not a perk is.
4 -
People don't want a SWF indicator because some killers are dodging lobbies already for even dumber reasons, like P3 skins or 2 flashlights.
2 -
Then it's just a case of inconsistency. Also, as for my first point, that killer doesn't seem like the best at the game. I've seen way more cases of being able to hook after hitting than not.
0 -
Whats wrong about lobby dodging? The game hasn´t started. No one is affected. I prefer someone who lobby dodges over someone who disconnects, suicides or afks because they don´t like the map, killer, or whatever.
4 -
Survivors can choose to run DS or Unbreakable, even if they don't run it, Killer's are forced to play around it and assume they have DS and/or Unbreakable. Also in a SWF, you can balance your perks across 4 people, so actually you are wrong again: survivors and killers do not need to take equal chances, a Killer only has 4 perk slots and these need to account for all playstyles, this is why you usually see the same strong combinations of perks being ran (Corrupt + Pop, or slowdown Hex perks).
Also if your comment was aimed at someone who called them "cheaters", why did you literally quote my comment in yours? You obviously were aiming that comment at me, champ.
It is a matter of how situational a perk is, that's the entire reason why niche perks like Mad Grit will never be recommended in any build that is close to a "meta build".
I count you've been wrong 4x now in like 10 minutes, maybe stop posting lol

I had a game where a nurse awkward teleported when I was in a corner and was lodged in the corner by a stunned nurse.

What do you want to say with this clip? Its the same like the first clip. The only difference was that the killer decided to hit you twice instead of hooking.
1 -
I meant the first comment i made which you used to reply to me, since you replied to that comment i assumed you hate to face bocyblockers too, that's why i said that.
Again, if you want to run your meta builds then go for it, but don't complain about bodyblockers because you have a perk which completely counters that.
Your comments make me think that you have little experience in games based around builds, so let me tell you this. You gotta make your builds around your main strengths or weaknesses and use your skills to deal with everything else. So please, stop crying lol
3 -
If you really are asking me "what's wrong with lobby dodging" then i rather end the conversation right now, thanks xD
2 -
You lose collision with the killer if they hit you for about 2 seconds btw
0 -
Body Blocking... at a hook?
No, that's not toxic... that's a dumb check. 95% of the times it happens to me, it's a free hit and I just hook anyway.
Once in a blue moon, they do it right at the end of my struggle and it actually pays off. Worse odds than a flashlight save though, and that don't happen often.
3 -
Did you read past the first sentence? Would you really prefer a killer that goes afk over a lobby dodging one?
2 -
yeah man, trying to help your teammates stay alive longer is toxic as hell
3 -
Also you said "4 perk slots to account for all playstyles".
I got 4 perk slots too. If i decide to run a healer build against the Plague i'm kinda screwed, don't you think?
The difference between you and me is that i can accept the fact that i was unlucky and move on to the next match while you rather complain.
4 -
really no difference? look at nightmare, he "in me". Nightmare in David
0 -
I would rather get slapped in the face than a kick in the nuts, that doesn't mean i'm ok with being slapped in the face.
2 -
This has always been a thing due to the surivor not having collision when hit they can walk through you
0 -
It looks like you just messed it up by staying inside of the killer. You lose collision with them for a few seconds after being hit and that doesn't go away if you never leave their collision hitbox.
0 -
Who said I'd rather complain? I'm just participating in this thread as I disagree with your solution to just run mad grit in all your builds for the 1 in 10 matches where someone bodyblocks (when in fact there are ways to play around body block, just drop the body and get free hits).
Sure yeah, its more of a problem in solo queue, but the topic had drifted to SWFs and how they usually body block, which is why I was saying they have much more perk slots to play with there because they can run multiple builds on top of the comms.
Sure yeah I'll go play Clown or Trapper and run whatever perks I feel like. At a high level you usually need some sort of slowdown, especially so for the weaker or slower killers.

The killer can move through the survivor after he hit the survivor. When a killer decides to hit twice instead its his choice. It can be that the killer dont know it, too.
But it works for me everytime and i see streamer (Otzdarva) do it too. Im doing it for over a year.
1 -
1st video. Nightmare hit me and just ignore me and hook (bodyblock dont work)
2nd video. Legion hit me but still cant move to my location for hook survivor (bodyblock working). After hit legion tries move to me, but cant. you really cant see this?
