Is Calm Spirit supposed to counter the Doctor?

I thought it did, but I just played against him and even though I didn’t scream, he was obviously still getting the alert to where I was hiding. Did they rework it or is it glitched now? Or has he always been able to know where I am and I was just being stupid?

Doctor has an addon that when a survivor's madness tier increases they get to see your aura for a few seconds.

Doctor's Static Blast always puts survivors into the next tier of madness.

No. Doctor has 3 effects that activate on madness that are not dependent on the scream.

    - Restraint, shows your aura when your madness increases, actually makes you more visible with calm spirit. Also makes madness 2 illusion auras visible to the doctor

    - Order, hard to use but fake pallets disappearing is sometimes noticeable

    - Discipline, the fake red stain, very visible but only stops you from camoing

Ah. An add-on. That would explain it. Thanks.

Generally I could work with it, but not when I’m working on the rift challenge where I need to hide within 10 meters for 45 seconds. lol.

This was on the game map and both times he got me I was behind walls where he wouldn’t be able to see red stains or hallucinations. He was clearly seeing my aura or bubble notifications which I thought he wouldn’t get if you didn’t scream.

He still laughs when he shocks you even if you don't scream, so he has a general idea of where you are with Calm Spirit regardless of add ons. I still wish No Mither would counter Oni though, makes no sense that it doesn't.
