Question regarding EAC and the new patch

So I went in a game as a specific killer, two ttv's immediately dc'd after I got into 2 seconds into a chase so I dc'd as well to see what was up. They told me the killer I was playing had been bugged to where hitting a survivor with their power causes the survivor to fly and get tempbanned by EAC. They told me their friend got banned for 2 days because of it. Is this true, or did I get jebaited?

    Baited tbh.Played a bunch of hours in this new patch,and nothing like that happened at all.

    EAC doesn't temp ban.

    Why would EAC step in just because you played a certain killer (even if it were "bugged")?

    EAC is not there to protect anyone from people that abuse ingame glitches.

    Also, yes, you got pranked.

    All EAC does is ruin your matches by detecting modified game files, and sell your data to China

    yes, you have been pranked in other for the anticheat to trigger you have to actually be hacking and even then it takes a while when the hacks are up to date. (so much hackers stream themselves hacking)

    Thanks for replying guys, I was worried that I would be making people get banned or smth. If you guys were wondering they said that it occurs when Clown throws a bottle at a survivor.
