Doctor
So in my personal opinion and many others I play with. The doctors ability can be used so much and so often, that it just feels physically impossible to win against many doctors. Hardly ever being able to outrun the killer, when we start getting space he just electro therapys us multiple times so that we can’t use pallets or anything to help ourselves. I feel like there should be a longer cool down on it. I just want to know if any others feel the same way about this. Please let me know.

Doctor is like a mid tier. He doesn't need to be nerfed.

I actually don't feel that way. I usually am able to punish the doctor if he doesn't know the exact timing of his shock and it's quite punishing, since he gets slowed down.
If you're really good with him and know the exact timing, it gets really harsh, but I think I've seen this kind of skill just once. He's really hard to play and if he fails his shock you can get one or more loops out of him.

So I guess you think clown is op as well because you can't just outrun him?
7 -
Wouldn't that logic apply to ALL killers?

I'm fine with Doc having a powerful chase because he has no mobility. At all. He moves only 115% and less.

I encounter many doctors who can't time their shocks right.
Never camp a pallet when ur being chased. They have to anticipate where ur running to in order to shock u. U can stop for a sec or two if ur looping so the shock misses u and u can also change directions.
He's really fun to play as
It's a huge headache when going against an experienced doctor especially one that uses Huntress Lullaby and overcharge.
Another thing I've noticed to is many doctors will shock right after hooking someone. If u happen to be near where he hooks someone either cuz u were working on a gen or want to go for the save, make sure ur in a locker. To avoid his shock. But don't be to obvious if ur by a very worked gen and hiding at the nearest locker. It can look suspicious if a gen is super worked and his shock doesn't find anyone. If I see a super worked gen and my shock didn't find anyone I emmedietly assume someone's in a locker and I usually look at the closest locker to the gen. So u gota choose the right locker.

If the doctor spam his shock then punished him for it. If anything he was designed to be annoying as possible especially with the addons and ability he has.

Doctor is mid tier. Once you learn how to loop him he's super weak. He's honestly a wet blanket more then anything. Play killer and play doctor. Your see his how weak he is.

The doctor does get slowed down though when they use their shock power, sometimes at some loops its not even worth using it, just force the survivor to drop the pallet. some doctors spam their shock power but they end up getting nothing but madness tier 3 outa it. you do have to time it correctly.

How to play against the doctor:
- Stay out of his terror radius.
- Get in a locker when he downs someone.
- Stay in locker until he does his AOE static blast.
- Do gens.
- If in chase, don't greed pallets.
- Learn how to loop and proper pathing.

Doctor is one of the most balanced killers in the game at the moment. I have a lot of fun fighting him

Survivor main here, but my favorite killer is Doc and I love playing against him too. My thoughts on the matter:
Doc is a mid-tier killer with no lethality besides M1. That leads many survivors to think that you can play against him the same way you can play against Trapper or other 115% M1 killers, and that is false. Doc has amazing tracking skills and good anti-looping IF the Killer knows how to use Shock Therapy.
TRACKING (Static Blast):
Doc can use Static Blast every one minute by default. The average Doctor will use BBQ or Whispers to know the general location of survivors and Blast when they are close enough to know their precise location. A good Doc will know where you are before blasting. How can you counterplay that? Be confident and do not hide. If the Doc saw you working on a gen with BBQ, came close to blast, and no one was revealed, he will search for scratch marks or investigate lockers close to the gen you were working. Rather than hiding in a locker, it's better for you to search for a good loop and start moving there. The doctor is the second-best user of Iron Maiden, even if you manage to hide successfully, many will come back after you scream and are exposed.
ANTI-LOOPING(Shock Therapy):
Many inexperienced Docs will overuse their power, but the trick is about the timing of the Shock, not how many Shocks you can deliver in a loop. You can abuse that as a survivor. Shock Therapy makes you unable to execute actions for 2.5 seconds, but reduces the Doctor speed and takes 1 second to charge + 1 second to shock. A good doc will shock you once when he notices you're between 2 or 4 seconds before reaching the pallet. You can avoid the shock by going through the other side of the loop or just leaving to another close loop. Some loops are impossible versus a good doctor and you need to avoid them if you notice the killer is experienced: Shack with a pallet down is a trap, Inside the gas heaven area with the gen, any loops where you need to vault the pallet back and forth to avoid the killer.
GENERAL TIPS:
-If you have downtime in a chase, you can 99 your snap out of it, just like you 99 a heal. No matter how much the doc shocks you, the progress is unchanged.
-Restraint addons are incredibly powerful, they allow him to see your aura after Shock Therapy. You can get a hint by him always predicting your mind games.
-He is annoying to play against, but not oppressive.
-Finally, play some matches as him. If will learn by checking his limitations and also see what survivors do against you.
-Archdruid drey is a Doc main, you can learn a lot with him. Another good streamer is Uncharted, he is a survivor main with good videos on youtube on how to go against many killers, including Doc.

Not gonna repost the good points made above. Doc is fun to play as and against. It's all a matter of how well you know the killer and ability to use the map properly.

The post was more about his shock therapy ability. Not the chases. Hes the only killer I have a trouble with, the main reason being his ability.

Appreciate the tips I’ll try these out next time I play against a doctor 👍

with addons you can use it often with a large radius combined with distressing, on it's own it's only about once a minute iirc. Once they blow it you have enough time to finish a gen safely if you aren't using calm spirit.
When no one is chased , and you're on a gen not on the edges or if they are near that edge of the map, they might use it to find somebody. If they just hooked or downed and may be about to hook somebody is a time they are inclined to use it, also just after a hook and they may use shock therapy instead around the hook depending on the layout. Try and anticipate the static, then slam the gen once they burn it. Do get madness one out of the way in case of madness aura and so it's less jarring when the skill check changes hit you after spending half the match doing them normally. The perk he uses when he kicks the gen is basically just forcing you to do the DS skill check every time you start the gen again. If you can usually land DS you don't need to be afraid of the gens.
Also throw a pallet early, and try and predict when he's gonna throw shock therapy and fake going for the pallet to bait it and gain some ground running too. keep in mind even throwing it, you still can't vault it if hit by shock therapy. But it can put some ground between you, but can also make the spot more dangerous for you creating a potential dead end for you if you're not careful. It can create distance and let you run away from the area though throwing early as he has to move around it or kick it. Baiting shock around an unused pallet though, can often get you some distance back since theys low while charging it up.
You just can't go in most circles forever like that, something to keep in mind too. Eventually you have to use it, or get away, but if you have dead hard that can help you get away from the spot after being hit getting you a lot of ground with the speed boost combination. You can also dead hard when coming straight on at a pallet or vault if he's readying shock to be able to throw the pallet or vault before he hits you with shock you can dodge the shock entirely with a good dead hard and put a lot of distance between you after the pallet or vault and the slow charging shock gave the doctor. It's hard to think of little things like that in the middle of a panic while being chased though. You'll have to force yourself so will have some bad matches but eventually it'll become more intuitive for you. Try playing doctor a little bit also to get a feel for cd and range of his effects and what it looks like from his perspective. Even unintentionally you'll get alittle better playing against him after enough of that.
