Would you prefer DLC's Quarterly or Bi-Yearly?
So as the the years have gone by, it appears that BHVR is still struggling with the unrealistic expectations to produce new content every 3 months while also keeping up with quality control.
That being said, do you guys like their current format of releasing new Killers/DLC's every 3 months with little time to patch bugs?
Or would you guys prefer having slightly bigger content releases every 6 months, allowing the Devs time to fix the known issues in the game?

3 a year for 2 years. With monthly updates between.

every 6 months with hefty optimization, balance adjustments and qol updates between them

It depends. I'd still like mid-chapters in place of DLC, but instead of adding new content they revamp/rebalance/bugfix the old.
However, it's not going to happen.

Bi yearly so they can actually fix the issues in the game, but that’s not how the fiscal year works so it won’t happen

It would get so boring if it was bi yearly.

Yeah it’s so much better for them to break the game every 2 months, leave us hanging for weeks, and then fix it only to break the game again a month later

I’m far too impatient, so I love 4 chapters, and 4 mid chapters every few weeks.

Bi yearly means well be stuck with the same killers and perks for half a year

Content is the lifeblood of this game if it slowed down the game would stagnate to the extend where people might have enough freetime to make a game that updates faster with a similar premise

Quarterly.

The survivor meta hasn’t changed in 4 years bud. Killer meta changed for uhh, 3 months before it was gutted? Lmao

No new DLC for one year while they fix the mountain of outstanding bugs. Then they can start re-introducing new content with more care than the current "Deploy to Production and fix it later" methodology.

But at least we get new killers to play against/as

I'm fine with 4 DLC per year. Any less, and I would lose interest in playing which would most likely lead to me dropping DBD from my gaming rotation. The way this game is, there is not enough content in 1 DLC to make it last 6 months.
The only thing I would like is for them to adjust the bloodweb or perk tiers so that the bloodpoint grind isn't so bad for new players.

Should be 1 Killer for 2022 and then 1 Survivor for 2023.
That'll give them a few more days to work on them I think.

Definitely bi-yearly, as long as they push out monthly updates focusing on suggestions made by players, bug fixes, balancing, etc. Plus, by pushing out chapters every 6 months, it's fun to feel hyped lol. Maybe a licensed chapter in the middle of the year, and at the end of the year an original chapter.

Eventually they'll have to slow down at somepoint. You cant have dozens upon dozens of killers and it allows players to get more hyped and speculate more.

Devs gotta eat man....

I think if I didn't have a new killer to look forward to and then usually be disappointed every 3 months I'd quit. Dont act like they would actually do work to fix the game with extra time off because they wouldn't. The extension of ptbs and patches by a week hasn't netted jack ######### in gains. They're just lazy af.

The problem is they suck, so they would just take an extra 50% off of doing anything at all. The game would die within 6 months.

They ain’t eating from me. They say they are around 1 million active players and I still get this sort of matchmaking?
Its lazy trash. Quit trying to defend it

Not with that attitude, but also with a 6 month most peoples boredom levels would far surpass any hype they could muster

If it was bi-yearly the game will let stale, the only thing I'm seeing that keeping this game going is the chapters, that doesn't mean they shouldn't at least try to fix some stuff.
