I am confused about q times and what others are saying
I didn't play this game for a long time and I was reading how solo surv q is terrible. I played with cross play for some time and switched it off. In both cases my games are instant. Im on ps4 btw.
Am I in minority or there is some kind of desinformation flowing around?
Anyone else having similar experience?

with crossplay off you get matched faster but with the same people all time

Before this last patch, before the evening survivor queues were instant, and by the evening they took ages, and killer was the total opposite.
Now, with the patch, survivor queues r instant all day, and killer isn't instant but doesn't take more than 4/5min

They were all complaining before the patch.
Now the patch has hit... Yeah nobody wants to play survivor and it's completely understandable. I've never wanted to put a hole in my wall more than current solo.

Not sure about survivor queues, but in my experience (EU, PC, crossplay on) killer queues in the morning take 30min+, about 10min in the afternoon and a few minutes in the evening. Midnight is almost always instantaneous. I guess it just greatly depends on the time of day you play, and maybe your rank? Like someone said, with crossplay off you often get into a game very quickly but it's the same survivors over and over again. I've made a couple of friends this way haha!

Yeah, it depends on your area and the time of the day and also your Rank.
Like, I have long Killer Queues the whole day except for the evening, then they are instant. For Survivor, I have instant Queues but longer Queues in the evening. However, my longest Survivor Queues are not even close to my regular Killer Queues during the day. PC, EU and Crossplay on aswell.
However, I have seen Streamers in NA who have really, really long Survivor Queues during the time they are streaming, which is the reason they mostly stick to Killer. So the region seems to be pretty important.

Survivors are all playing killer for the tome and for easy rank 1 achievement because the devs screwed up latency / hitboxes.
Many are also taking a break because of animation changes and hud changes.
This is why survivor q is instant.
