The ptb happened for a reason
Its astonishing how the devs just gloss over almost all reasonable suggestions and criticism. This exists to get feedback and playtesting. Both of those were obtained. Neither were given attention. Why would you even put resources into a ptb just to not listen to the utter crys of protest and then put resources into reverting changes THAT WERE ALREADY SHOWN TO BE A BAD IDEA. YOU WOULD HAVE TO HAVE THE BRAIN CAPACITY OF A MELTED CRAYON IN ORDER TO FIND THIS AS ACCEPTABLE.

They way i see it, BHVR tries to use PTBs to generate hype, and to at least identifiy bugs. The problem comes in that when the community isn't hyped, and is in fact upset, they ignore it. And with bugs they rarely fix anything unless it is actively game breaking, and refuse to delay something no matter what.

I actually didnt notice any issue with hitboxes when I played the PTB. I think it got desynced when they officially released it. Which is fine, if they actually did something with the negative feedback.

Their excuse is due to console certification, they only ACTUALLY get 3 days to make changes after the PTB drops. Either way, they could change their workflow at any time to accommodate for it. It's not like they have a Publisher breathing down their neck anymore lmao

Pretty much. They are just too stubborn for their own good. They could just change the timing of things by a bit. And you know, actually listen to their community.
