It'd probably increase the amount of DCs before a match starts, but eh. Looks really cool.
Plus, we all know BHVR cares about 'better looking' things over actual gameplay, so it'd fit right in.

it shouldn’t be revealing the actual map the match will take place on though, since there are some folks that would DC during the loading screen..

If the DC penalty works during loading screen, it will prevent people from DCing

This looks alot like an old PS2 or PS3 games loading screen, makes me feel happy for some reason.

Fair, for some people. But that's assuming everyone cares about the dc penalty, which they don't.
