Smoke on gens plus new gensounds
Hello,
i know for a couple of weeks there was a new gensound but the whole community was not like it. Maybe we have a chance to get a "new gensound" ( because the actual one is to old and outdated )? and maybe "smoke" on gens as you can see on the screen ? It would be more realistic. What do you think about it?

The gen sounds are relatively new and came about when they updated the gens to look more realistic and added new animations when working on them. The only thing people really seemed to dislike was the train sound they used to make which was quickly removed.
The smoke while not a bad idea and one I wouldnt mind may have the possibility to lower some players fps when working on them if using older hardware. Its one of those is it really needed scenarios.

I don't think the smoke is really necessary. The new animations already make a ton of sparks and such that from a distance are basically beacons saying the gen is being worked on. Plus when a gen explodes it already makes a huge loud of smoke. You don't see the smoke when you're on the gen, but watch a gen explode from a distance. It's very very obvious.

thats true but i know alot off ppl, are rdy for something new. Not everyine like sound changes i know but.... to stay now in this 5 year old game with the same gensound is pretty boring. Sry for that little push
