This is long and drawn out but I had another player send me a lot of hate mail and I responded pretty neutral but was curious what others thought of it.


Played a game on the silent hill map with a level 2 Ash (definetly a bad idea) with 3 swf players. We were against a huntress with iridescent heads. She hooked me very early on. I got off hook and my team didn't heal me and I lost them for the rest of the game until devour hope kicked in. I randomly found the hatch but she killed one teammate across the map and downed the other 2 across the map. I decided since I had garbage perks, team didn't help me heal, the hatch was right there, and I didn't have anything to deal with huntress to let the other 2 bleeding and used hatch.


Thoughts?

    perfectly okay how you played, I get why the others would be a little bit salty though. And the huntress was more at fault for letting them bleed out, she could have hooked them after all..

    you don’t have to play super altruistic if you don’t want to, the game is clearly implemented so that you have the choice here. And you didn’t take the game hostage as the bleeding timer progressed normally..


    if the hate messages crossed a line I hope you have reported them accordingly.

    Yeah I totally understand being salty about it, especially with huntress not killing them. I generally try to be altruistic but when all I have is flip flop on an injured level 2 ash I'm much more reluctant especially after not getting healed.


    Yeah I reported them. I basically tried to say "yeah I understand it sucks having a player not help you when you want to and it sucks having a player hide at the end but thats kinda how the game is sometimes. GG" and he then decided to throw many insults etc.

    You don't wanna heal vs iri huntress thats why they probably did not heal you.

    They can be salty sure but you did nothing wrong honestly. you aren't supposed to be able to know their mind if you aren't included in their comms. don't worry about it and if they really took it too far please make sure to report them to the platform they used to communicate with you.

    Yeah I a little bit thought that as well but was still laying to get a heal only for the sake of not having Ash make so much noise. He is soooo loud injured

    Play the way you want,

    If the others are unhappy with this situation they should have played a full group of SWF
