Hitbox needs an IMMEDIATE HOTFIX!
OMG, literally 10 out of 10 loops I get hit by these stupid hitboxes. The killer swings, I'm around the corner while the killer is still on the other side, but he still hits me ! like come on, this is the most ridicilous hitbox i've ever seen in this game. Worse than freddy's hitbox. I don't want to imagine Freddy's hitbox now, his invisible arm must be hilariously long now.
Won't touch this game anymore, until this is fixed.

Then don't touch it, perfectly reasonable.
However it's not going to get fixed any faster than it is. I am concerned by the fact apparently the fix for it is two updates away and not one; but they haven't fixed a single broken thing yet.....

It isn't a hitbox error, it's a desync issue.
The hits all look fine from the Killer's perspective, so it isn't an issue of hitboxes but rather one of desync.

Broken hits don't break the game as much as falling behind on the cosmetics schedule.

"high priority" but you need to wait 2 weeks to even adjust the MASSIVE, core problems? 🙃
Even more so when you consider most of these issues were complains WEEKS ago. PTB is meaningless. Don't even bother making it public anymore, it's clear all it isn't for suggestions or testing. All it does is separate the community so some are playing the pointless PTB and the others are playing live.

Dead by daylight is still in Alpha ??? seriously ... 2weeks minimum ... i'd say 4 weeks before 4.5.2 wich is a priority ... BUT your can still buy things in game ... THAT is not BUGGED

On the other side, I am missing clear hits with killer so problem definitely not just survivor specific.

That in particular was from when they were investigating. All they knew is there was something wrong.
Now they're calling it the hit box issue cuz it's called the hit box issue by most players and it's the easiest way for ppl to understand what they're talking about. If more ppl called it the desync issue then it would be valued the desync issue. What's causing it could be anything but what you call it doesn't matter as much.

They very clearly made sure to separate those two things from each other in the past, have made entire dev blogs explaining that they are very different things and want them to be referred to as such.
They have gone out of there way to correct people who say hitbox instead of latency or something else in the past.
So I don't think that is the case at all.

Actually they've done both in the past but there's like 2 big posts where they've officially explained the issue and logic behind what they were doing directly from the dev working on it. Most of the time, this is not what BHVR does and communication comes from ppl not entirely in the know. For example, the mixed messages ppl are getting from Not_Queen cuz of screen shots she's said about the UI.

They still very clearly said one thing.
They have separated those things themselves into distinct classifications.
They are either wrong themselves/misspoke or it is as they said. It's one or the other, there is no argument to be had there.

Patches for DBD cannot be pushed out in 2-3 days they need almost a week to get certs from Sony and Microsoft

Exactly, another reason why QA is so important it's not strictly PC where they can throw out a hotfix in 2-3 days

Literally who cares if it's specifically hit boxes or desync? Why does that matter? Either way the issue needs to be fixed immediately. Not 3 weeks after they introduce it
