If patch 4.5.2 isn't out within the next week you should just roll back the update
Seriously devs I dont think you understand how unenjoyable survivor is right now. Do the 5-10 min killer queue times not tell u anything especially when u had to wait seconds before the last patch?

Look. I hate this patch too.
They'll never roll this patch back. They spent money and time on it. That'd put them at an overall loss. We'll just have to wait for the patch. The 'next week' might be too short a time, considering everything. I assume you're talking about the desync issues, and maybe the animations? The animations will take longer- They already said that. Considering patch 4.5.1 came out yesterday I don't think we'll get it within a week. Not if we really want these things to be fixed.

I don't think reverting would be an option, there's so many things implemented behind the scenes that get adjusted for things like this - reverting is not a simple fix plus I think we'd rather continue to fix things based on the feedback we're getting rather than reverting and then going through things again.
The next hotfix patch should be next week, but no confirmed date on that.

You do realize reverting would be an improvement.
Stop forcing broken patches on us and making us wait until they are FIXED PLEASE!
Rolling the chapter back also doesn't mean you can't release 4.5.2 at a later date with improvements.

My main problem with this solution is that finishing the rift, which I like to do, is really difficult if you take a two week break from the game. :/

Survivor's not that bad right now. The new animations are only a bit different in how they play and I think they generally look good. The HUD is far from perfect (bleed out / hook progress bar needs to be bigger and easier to read, the perks and items are too large compared to the BP notifications, etc.) but I much prefer it to the old one for the buttery smooth skill checks, portraits, hook state counter, and UI scaling options. I have taken at least one or two hits that felt really terrible on 4.5.0 but most of them have felt fair and normal. Queue times are about where they were on 4.4.2 too.
I know other people have had bigger problems with BS-feeling hits than I have, but there are a lot of people overreacting about the HUD and animation changes too. I agree with Mandy that the best play is just to continue fixing what we have, because it's better than what we had before.

then why are they fixing it now? Listen I get they should have listened in the PTB but that still doesn’t mean they ignore feedback there literally changing the UI next week

I don't think it's actually possible for them to do roll backs. From the way it appears, they sort of just YEET these updates out and once they're out, they're out and they just hope for the best. Bugs in updates, not abnormal, however like the map issues and the hitbox issues, how in gods green earth do you miss that? It seems like little to no play testing is ever done. That's my 2 cents.

They refuse to even revert the New UI which took them 6 months to make.
There's no way they're reverting the rest of the patch.
BHVR is not the kind of company that can admit they made a mistake. They will stick to their guns no matter what.

Just play something else until the game isn't in a terrible place. Player counts are already starting to dip. They need to work fast or the suits will start getting angry.

Thats exactly why you play something else. If the player basis dips enough, they panic and work faster.
