why is there still nothing stopping this """""strategy"""" like hey you dc for hatch, it will only open in 30 seconds because of that, idc if people will troll with it, dc for hatch is #########

Because Killers are so sweaty... A win is usually a 3K or better, or if it was a successful match for you. That's how I base it for me. But most Killers MUST sweat for that 4K and Survivors are so sick of it. The Devs already said it's a 6% chance us Survivors escape anyway, yet Killers want to sweat so hard for a 4K.

"because they're being sweaty" is a really bad reason that any side should get to manipulate factors outside a game to change the results... Whether they're sweaty or not, there should not be anything anyone can do outside of the game environment to change the game environment, period. I don't really know what the solution would be other than general dc penalties, but whether one side deserves it or not, there is no argument that this is healthy for the game

Yeah, stopped at the first sentence. A Killer does not NEED a 4K. But they must slug everyone to ensure they get their wittle 4K... pitiful

Honestly, it is not a big deal. It is quite rare, and if someone DCs, they sacrifice all their BPs they earned AND get a penalty. If they were in a SWF, all of them will have to wait.
Of course it sucks if that happens, but given how rare it is, there are other things that should have higher priority. In my 5,5k hours in DBD I have seen a DC for Hatch like 3 times.

Just hook the survivor and there will be no dc for the hatch. And it's rare anyway

When someone disconnects they should have the full sacrifice animation like a hook, before hatch spawns.
Easiest fix ever I dunno why it's never happened.

I don't respect other killers that don't attempt the Great Hatch Hunt. Honestly hunting for the hatch is some of the most relaxing killer gameplay, you can kinda chill as you wander, and worst case scenario you still have a 3k.
If you hooked the 3rd survivor instead of slugging, you'd have more time to find the hatch before it opened.

when 1 surv is slugged on the ground because killer wants to sweat their balls off to get 4k and:
a) he dont want to give him that 4k
b) 4th surv is his friend telling him hes on hatch
c) random wont save him anyway
so why even be slugged and give hook BP to killer who wants to deny you ability to play a game you want to play? (but he will come back after 3 mins)
i dont DC when killer is slugging for 4k WHEN HE KNOWS where last surv is (so he will get him in max 60sec) but bruh if i see random on other side of map and killer is leaving me to search for it, nah mate i take my 5min DC penalty and watch some streams (having 2 monitors is a bless)

Some people want the win. Some people want to deny the Killer a win. If they want to eat a penalty so someone gets hatch, okay. That's on them. They have their priorities.
I play to win as Killer, but I also don't sweat a 4k personally. If I'm at 3K and the last Survivor gets hatch, alrighty. Game's over. If someone DCed to give them hatch, uuuuuh... okay. I'll still just go to the next match. GG bruv.

Its annoying when it happens. Only thing I would suggest as a change is maybe make it so it doesnt open for like 30 seconds or so when that happens. I remember way back when I group got pissy that they were getting stomped on, so when it was down to 2 people left... One guy led me away from his buddy, only to DC as soon as he touched the ground for his buddy to instantly get the hatch. They then started going off in the EGC how I didnt DESERVE the kills...
If I had any sort of window to move, I couldve made it to the 4th survivor/hatch before it opened. If I was even allowed to hook the 3rd survivor, I wouldve been given some time since it takes abit for the sacrifice animation to finish, but because DC is instant, no time for me.

I think he knows. But I think it is more for the situation where, if they go solo, they all separately have the DC timer.

While normally I would agree, the survivor that dc'd gets:
- A 5-minute tempban
- No BPs from the game
- A depip
And that's all I could think of. You could still give yourself a pat on the back for being the true winner of the match, just a bit less BPs, but hey, the DC'ing survivor gets absolutely nothing good out of the game, so haha to them!

Because if there's only 1 survivor in the game the hatch opens. So, when a survivor DCs it makes it so there's only 1 survivor and the hatch immediately opens letting the last guy go into it.

Because nowadays people would rather cheat a win than earn it plain and simple gone are they daus where Dwight eould heroically sacrifise himself for others meaning a glorious win.

At the end of they day could be worse... I've had my fair share of survs who have dced as there about to be hooked Because they figured out i have bbq.

Me defending DC, when killer is denying you ability to play the game (even tho he already won so why would he care?) is bad because let me guess? you're doing that. As long as survivors wont get "give up" button when they are slugged for more than 60 sec straight I will defend DC when killer is sweating for 4k.
Also denying facts just because I didn't used best form possible is just pathetic. you didn't denied anything what I wrote using facts/arguments (so i guess I'm right, because you would use those right?!).
If you don't care about debating/using real arguments, I'm done with answering to you.
