Patch 4.5 was amazing.
You know why?
Because prior to the patch my Survivor queues took 5 minutes.
Today thanks tot he patch my queues are now instant, like they were 2 years ago.
BHVR finally did something right after a long while.
Thank you BHVR for improving my Survivor experience signficantly.

until you realize the only reason the queues are so good is due to bugged hitboxes making playing killer a bit easier atm since its harder to loop a killer because of the reach :)
the moment it gets fixed the longer the queues

Because of survivor tired of hitbox issue and go play killer.

From the Killer's PoV the hits are perfectly normal, it doesn't make playing Killer any easier, desync is the issue.

I have zero problems playing.
Sure the hitboxes are all whacked. But I still escape as much as I did before hitboxes were whacked. No biggie. I just adjust my playstyle and don't get into chases as much. I don't go around whining about how bad I am at the game like all the other victimized sissies out there.
If this is the case I'm happy if they never fix hitboxes. I rather play a game instantly with dodgy hitbox than wait 5 minutes with perfect hitboxes (not that they were ever perfect).

I have to say that when this update come out, I thought it will be worse to play Surivivor (it kinda is) but overall I think I got used to it or at least I don't feel bad when I got "unfair" hit since I know why is the issue happening.

My survivor Q times were already instant most of the day. I'd rather have them still instant and not depip because of broken emblems + bs hits

Even prior to the patch I always had hit validation issues so really I didn't feel it was that much worse. Sure now I see hits coming in after I've walked around a corner and killer is still on the other side. But overall it's not that much different from before patch. My ping in this game has always been bad so no biggie.

Yes it does. Killer is a whole lot easier currently because survivors are playing way worse from killer POV. If there was no desync they wouldn't take as many loops and would make less risky plays, and therefore would get hit way less. Now even the best survivors are way easier to get because they're used to playing optimal and not using pallets before they absolutely have to. With the current situation playing likes this guarantees getting hit.

How balanced are the lobbies though. Are they filled with players of the same rank? Or is it all over the place? In my experience so far, it's all over the place. To be fair though, it's not like it was better before

Desync also affects the killer
Quite a few of my hits were robbed that should have hit,especially at windows.

lol that's kinda why i keep going back to playing survivor this patch despite how irritating the desync is, it's also a good time to just rush through your survivor challenges while also getting decent bp if you use an event offering.
