Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Borrowed Time rework.

Instead of having it as a teammate perk, have it as a solo survivor perk when you've been unhooked or healed from the dying state and hit then you have the bleed out timer. I think it would solve some issues with tunneling for solo survivors and it would allow unhooking team mates to have different perks.

this was the perk before except it was a one time use. maybe if your a solo survivor and not in swf but other than that its not that good and you my as well tunnel the person who was unhooked.

Yeah. Leave it up to survivor mains to come up with a perk more OP than DS. BT is a very, very strong perk already. OP's idea is a huge buff. Your guys' ideas of balanced is delusional.

uh...I play more killer than survivor my friend, and THIS IS IN THE SURVIVORS SECTION MY DUDE/DUDETTE

I do think it should have a limit maybe a shorter bleedout timer like 10 seconds capped, but I think there needs to be some kind of balance for solo survivors to slugging and tunneling because it is rampant and relatively unchecked and is the most effective strategy for killers and Survivors just unhook for the points, they can't effectively heal or defend a wounded player. I've been surrounded by team mates trying to block for me and heal and still got slugged through their hitboxes and seen the same as a team member trying to save someone tunneled.

    no

If that will ever be the case and you gain BT for yourself (like invulnerability while unhooking isnt enough already lul), then I will do my best to make you suffer the rest of the game for it

So what? Its a private club?

He's right BTW, you would see BT everywhere if you change it in that way and I would use that too to avoid farmers so.. Yeah let's not

^ shows you go straight for a wounded dehooked survivor. The reason why I suggest this is that killers all got a 4 second increase against wounded survivors to nerf self care (they should've just nerfed self care :/) this is making perks like We're Gonna Make It, mandatory for altruistic play styles and no survivor is going to grab WGM and BT at the same time when they needs some perks for themselves. I suggest this to give solo survivors some breathing room, they still have to be saved by a team mate which would balance the perk out.

but wouldnt that be the purpose, and would that also help prevent tunneling

Invincibility after every unhook. This would become more run than self-care.

I would be stupid to go for the healthy guy if some trolls inhook right in front of me.
Dont blame the killer for your mistakes, And these 4 seconds are laughable, you know that very well

Borrowed Time it's fine as it is, also, does Borrowed and Time dings you something ? It's a team/rescue perk, not meant for solo flashlight warriors

100% this, the issue OP is talking about is not a killer issue at all. It's a bad survivor issue. If you get hit right after being unhooked it was a really poor unhook decision. If you want to prevent that you really need some kind of system to allow survivors to decline an unhook to prevent troll/farming survivors from forcing you off the hook in bad scenarios.

not really, many players forgo self care because it takes so long now and rank one survivors just get adrenaline so they get a free instaheal and many are grabbing WGM just to compensate for healing nerfs. That's also the point I'm trying to get across is that both team mates and killers are to blame for increased tunneling and solo survivors need some form of defense from tunneling, like the devs have been buffing weird stuff involved with hooks like invulnerability frames and instant exhaustion recovery and chaser emblem stuff instead of just giving an anti camping/tunneling perk.

So you blame the killer for using his brain and doing what he is supposed to? Do you want him to play bad intentionally? lol

The only thing they need to do to BT is have the icon flash when you give it to someone. So many times I heard a heartbeat yet didn't give someone BT. If the icon flashes during the unhook then I would know I gave it to them. If it doesn't then I didn't and have to play differently.
